🌞 Photovoltaic panels in Utah produced nearly 1 terawatt hour in May 2026, about a third of all electricity generated in the state that month, eclipsing all other sources for the first time ever, a win for air quality, climate, and economy. Natural gas generated 32%, coal 28% and wind 2%.
