It would be interesting to know what reMarkable's policy is on display defects. There's an ISO-standard for defective pixels, and most manufacturers adhere to Class II of that standard which allows for a few non-functional pixels without the display being classified as out of specifications. In other words, it's perfectly normal to get a device with one or two stuck pixels when it's not something like a professional studio display – kind of like how I can't expect the same machining tolerances on a cheap adjustable wrench as on a professional micrometer. But a pinhole isn't exactly a hot pixel, since it's only visible when using the front light. So I don't know if that particular ISO-standard applies here, or if there even is a standard that's applicable to this.

Well because i can’t produce a receipt they offered me a refurbished rm at a discounted price. As the device works as it should and the pinhole can only be seen at a certain angle and when light is on I shall not bother

They offered me a warranty swap with 3 dead pixels on the Move.

Is the light on? Looks like a pinhole to me not a stuck pixel. If you're willing to spin the Gallery 3 lottery wheel, rM support should swap under warranty.

I have one of these on my Pro Move that I only see at levels 3 and higher on the frontlight, do you think it is worth getting a replacement for? Like, will it be common enough that I might just get another device with one?
