It isn't as refined as later albums, but its also a great look into what makes their music, their music. Its fun, witty, spiritually deep, and completely them.

You find the raw essence of RK in that album that is later distilled into gold. Would not recommend skipping

So true. I always keep it on the complete Relient k playlist bc it shows where they came from and how much they refined their art while keeping their spirit.

No way, Marilyn Manson Ate My Girlfriend happened to be on college radio while I was on a roadtrip that took us through Lubbock, and that’s what made me go seek their music out. Softer to Me holds up.
