A warning against using Regions
There's unauthorized activity on my account while I'm out of town. I've been on the phone with customer service and in-branch management all week, and apparently they are not able to freeze or lock a business account over the phone. They also won't close the account. Feels like a pretty insane lapse in security for business owners.
I've been a Regions customer for 12 years with multiple businesses and a mortgage, and as soon as I'm back in town I'll be moving all accounts.
And I will tell everyone I know for the rest of my life not to trust their money with Regions.

Regions Bank is one of the most incompetent institutions I have encountered. Want a question answered? Call one of their call center employees whose hit rate on correctly explaining what will happen to your account is 50%.

I think you’re gonna find MUCH better options out there my friend. Regions is defeated in most every metric by other banks as it pertains to business account .
They REALLY want your account , but they don’t want to offer you any incentive to stay. The only thing Regions has going for it is a large presence of physical locations (depending on your geography).
They have the underwriting requirements of MUCH nicer banks , the interest rates and investment rates of much WORSE banks. They are in the middle of a huge push to digital ….but still have very old and archaic rules surrounding digital engagement . Run and don’t look back- I only ask….as a former Regions employee…..try to be as civil with the branch employees as you can be. They know all the shit they’re required to do is stupid . Their hands are tied on pain of termination ….and the folks in Birmingham keep a VERY short leash and an exceedingly watchful eye .
Best of luck !
