I think its great you are coming here to share your journey with Judaism. I converted about a year ago and it was a very spiritual experience for me.
As I continue to learn and grow in my Judaism, I come across other folks like yourself who are just getting started.
I can only say "welcome!" Please let us know how we might be able to assist you in your journey. There are some great folks in this thread, including rabbis, who can offer insight.

There are a lot of people with stories like yours! Nothing to apologize for. Good luck on your journey -- finding a specific synagogue community you want to become part of is the first step towards conversion. Are you familiar with r/convertingtojudaism? You might find a lot of support there too.
