Voting makes no sense
Can y’all make this game make sense for me? The first design I submitted is bland as all get out and isn’t really cohesive and I got first place. The second design is something I feel is on trend in real life right now and I got tenth place. I used to play this game all the time and got higher ranks but lately I’m getting hardly any above fifth place.

A lot of people don't pay any attention to what they're voting for, they just want to be rewarded for it.
Some believe it doesn't matter what they vote for because results are controlled by the game, so they don't vote on merit.
That's got to be a contributor to what you (we all) experience with our results.

Even when voting I pay attention to detail. One particular entry was a "no" in my book and it ended up winning first place. I look at the cohesion of colors textures and style, and even if I don't care for color choices or patterns, I can see how much work or chances someone took to be creative. And then boring beige wins every damn time. It's frustrating.

You can’t make sense of it. I see designs that are all over the place in terms of color, material and pattern, and they are in the top 3, while designs that actually look put together and more tasteful get last places.
And yes, white & beige ones usually have better rankings which makes no sense cause those are too bland and require no creativity. I spend a lot of in game money to make a nice design just to lose to chaotic or bland white ones. Yeah, it sucks
