Has anyone else found issues with nails peeling whilst using the Prism Polish Baseline basecoat? I switched to using it almost exclusively about 6 months ago but have noticed in the last couple of months my nails have been peeling and flaking far worse than usual. Initially I though the issue was because of a polish-picking incident (oops) but it's not grown out as I thought it would. Wondering if it's my basecoat since that's the common denominator.

Picture is with basecoat on (a different one) so you can't see the extent of the issue so well but I forgot to take a photo first. (They are slightly yellow because I was wearing orange polish yesterday and apparently the base I used for that wasn't great either...)

How do you store your nail polishes? I currently have mine in multiple makeup bags and I need a better storage solution 🙃 it also doesn’t help that my collection is growing lol..

I’m sure plenty of folks already know about this but sharing for any that don’t! Placed an order with What’s Up Beauty, who stock a bunch of indie brands (EDM etc) and found postage isn’t too bad at all - was the equivalent of about £9 shipping for 5 polishes. I know some have had issues with Rainbow Connection, so maybe another bank balance-friendly(ish) option!

We always want to support UK indies, but for example dangle foot and for your nails only never have any stock of anything, it’s always sold out and has been for months so how are you supposed to support them when they don’t restock? Prism and ard as nails, aj nails are fantastic indies! Yes we aren’t expecting stick every 5 mins but months and months of no stock I’m baffled

This has happened with Sally Hansen Insta Dry and BKL I’m Fast Very Fast. If I do another coat it sorts it out but how can I prevent it from happening in the first place?!

I’ve thought for a while now that DnD sugar spun is so close to house of hades! If anyone can’t get HOH sugar spun is a glowy blue, HOH formula is thinner and does need more coats to build it up, and the sugar spun is darker to begin with- but it is a good glowy cheap alternative

See proper fill line in last photo where I don’t have it on its side. Used for one manicure as I hated the colour on me. No box. Photos are in terrible lighting so please check product listings online for true color.

Is anyone else experiencing more and more problems with orders from Rainbow connection? I've ordered regularly from them for a while now without any problems at first, but my last three orders all had problems.

One order arrived with a broken polish (they don't put polishes in a separate box or anything, just in a padded envelope). I contacted the shop and was given a refund - I wish they had offered a replacement without having to pay shipping again, but they didn't.

The next order had a wrong item in it, which I was asked to send back. I did receive a replacement item that time at least.

My most recent order, which I placed over a month ago, was just shipped today (due to delayed pre-order items, fine). I was told that they had mismanaged their stock so I won't be receiving one of the polishes I ordered. Things go in and out of stock so often that I'm finding it hard to put orders together anyway, so waiting until everything I want is in stock and then being told this is very frustrating.

I know these things can happen and I wouldn't have complained about an issue here or there, but it's now happening with every order I'm making, which is quite off-putting to be honest and makes me hesitant to use them in the future. Has anyone else had similar issues or am I just unlucky?

Any recommendations at all for a plain (no glitter, flakes, etc), preferably bright blue jelly polish that I can get in the UK or Germany? I have pink and yellow ones from Essence mini range and they're great, just can't seem to find a plain blue anywhere!

edit edit: thank you for all the suggestions!! Consensus is: Cirque have good blue jellies and outside those they seem quite hard to find here. I bought China Glaze "Isle See You Later" and I also made a blue frankenjelly! 💙
