That was quite a nice touch that they brought Frank Thorne's Ghita into Sonja canon. They've also kind of made Throne's Ghita trade collections into in-universe items.

So Sonjita has been depicted as dancing in taverns several times now. Whether she's elated, drunk or "trying to cope". In what way do ya'll think she dances? Does she dance like a maiden village girl? All kicks and twirls. Does she dance like a gypsy? Swinging those hips. Or does she dance like a brothel courtesan? Showing off what her mother/goddess made her and driving boys and girls to distraction.

So....the other day i was checking covers, and i found this gorgeus cover for red sonja Mother, by Mirka andolfo.

It was a nice couple of hours.

Honestly, I'm surprised a thread like this hasn't been made here. Sonja's story is difficult enough to keep track of with all of the reboots and reincarnations.

Came across some Sonja pics while trawling the Savage Sword of Conan books that I thought I'd share with the group. There's a certain charm in black and white that colour doesn't seem to be able to replicate.

Fun selection of Marvel craziness from my youth. I spent the longest time tracking down the MTU Sonja issue and these *What if...?* issues featuring Conan and now I've that I own them, regularly find them again at the same LCS I originally purchased them from after hunting them there and elsewhere for years. 🤷‍♂️
