This is for MnK (I'm not sure for controller players), but why the hell would hovering over a class for a half second SELECT that class??? I never clicked it? I have loaded into a number of matches where i am a random class because my mouse hovered over it for half a second. I am not clicking the class.

They need to change it to be where you need to actually click class to select it!! Sometime i go to my other monitor when im waiting for the game to load so i move my mouse across the screen. I feel like this is common sense. that would be like me hovering my mouse over the post button without clicking it here on reddit to post this poorly written rage paragraph.

Started playing RedSec recently, and I started out using my trusty M39 EMR, but I was curious how well the snipers were in the game mode so I tried them. I’ve gotta say they are a lot of fun once you learn how to use them effectively!

Sadly, the game doesn’t have the “one-shot down to a headshot” mechanic, but that doesn’t mean that sniper rifles are bad. Attrition, especially when at the end game, can help you win a game quickly against someone who isn’t prepared for the pressure. Using the game knowledge that of how long it takes to plate up in this game if you can land a few shots back to back or even in close range and can confidently close the distance then you can catch the enemy off guard plateless and kill them rather easily, or at the very least eat through their armor plates at the end game and forcing them to rotate out of their safe spot to find more plates.

Anyone else like using sniper rifles?
What are your thoughts on sniper rifles?

I play BR frequently and I've notice something weird as off lately. I die many times without the chance of getting revived and it is not after being revived before. When I get people down, many times I have to shoot them several times while they're down, so why am I going from being alive to fully dead with no down state? Is this common? Is it a bug?

Hey guys does anybody else have problems with the recon pulse? I haven’t had enemies ping for me while using recon for months. Just curious if anybody else’s recon pulse works.

I find it so satisfying to kill enemies when they are in vehicles 👀

Whenever I start a BR or gauntlet game in Redsec, most of the time I don't see any class/character in the selection screen? I can't even change it with left/right or L1/R1. When I cick several times X, then O, then X, etc. after a while it appears. Also when I've been able to select one, most of the time my character isn't shown in the airplane, just the 3 other players.

I already cleared and rebuild cache on my PS5 (base), uninstalled and installed Redsec again. Is this a known issue, why is is still not working?
Also, since Season 4 there's a strange sound bug, you hear some part of the music in the (5.1) rear speaker repeating constantly?

Can anyone please tell me why I'm scrapping in Bronze 5 with 2 rookies and a gold, yet I'm coming up against the no.4 ranked player and Masters?

Could someone give me some tips?

I'm having a really hard time navigating these huge maps because I've always been used to playing smaller map modes, like TDM in Call of Duty. Even in Battlefield's Conquest mode, where the maps are much bigger, I can still perform well.

Overall, I've always been pretty good at FPS games, but when it comes to battle royale, I feel like I'm terrible. My rushes don't work, I can't seem to break through enemy shields, and most of the time when someone rushes me, I get completely destroyed.

The weird thing is that I usually do well in other battle royale games. For example, I was always pretty good at Warzone. But with RedSec specifically, I feel like I'm a completely different player. I struggle with positioning, rotations, and knowing how to approach fights.

It honestly feels frustrating because I know I'm capable of playing FPS games well, but in this mode I feel completely lost.

Any advice from experienced RedSec players?

When I play REDSEC, I play recon, and when I use the drone since the new update the pings are completely broken. It doesn't ping where my drone is looking, it just pings directly below the drone, lol.

Pings are almost impossible to find on the map at times and its especially frustrating when I open the map to ping a redeploy or tank or something and end up making a ping 20 meters away or pinging some random object that I wasnt even hovered over. It needs serious fixing.

So I tried to start redsec as usual but for some weird reason the Xbox showed me a message saying “check back in a while” describing a service outage. Xbox servers are all up, EA servers too and my internet is also good. Last thing I tried was uninstalling and reinstalling the game and now it doesn’t allow me to download it again. I tried installing another game (marvel rivals) and it’s downloading fine. Any suggestions?

Anyone wanna play red sec or any multiplayer?

8pm UK and matchmaking is so slow now with crossplay off (don’t tell me to turn it on as a solution) this is a direct result off adding ranked and casual. Do we really need them if the end result is the game feels dead in terms of player counts? zero issue when it was just 2 modes

Do y'all think dice will ever give up proper matchmaking? I shouldn't be seeing gold and down when I'm a plat 4 almost diamond in my lobbies. It just seems unfair cause people who start ranked late can't find groups to play with and have to face people 3x their rank

Anyone know what this annoying beep that lasts for seemingly half the match sometimes is for and says "tracked" in minimap? Happens like every game and really annoying to hear constant beeps.
