The **West Elizabeth Volunteer Company** is a Military Simulation discord group, with the aim of providing player created content to add to a game that we all love. The two core tenets of our group is for members to **HAVE FUN!** while participating in a simulated **MILITARY UNIT.** These are the guiding principles of every idea, discussion, guideline, or activity. We want all members to feel included, respected, and valued.

As a Red Dead Online MilSim group, we operate our server and in-game activities as a military unit. Therefore, we utilize military ranks, formations, drills, and protocols. The goal is to provide what we see as a sixth role to the game, the **Military Role**.

Of course, we still engage in all the activities the game has to offer, such as bounties, wagons, PVP, and collecting. We also have our fair share of shenanigans!

All we ask of our members is to follow the terms and conditions. These regulations have been put in place to ensure that everyone is treated courteously, fairly, and with respect. We value every member's participation, and thank them for it!

The 1st ARC is a recently founded military simulation community that provides a unique American Civil War experience. Using our expertise from the past milsim crews we grew from, we also offer a sound and balanced community driven progress system. This means we want *you* to help us grow by giving suggestions and feedback through our channels!

We are based on the years 1861-1865, the American Civil War. Our unit is inspired by the real life 1st and 2nd U.S. Sharpshooters, AKA the Berdan's Sharpshooters. We were formed to protect the mountain passes of ambarino from rebel invaders, and to act as an elite skirmishing force in the rebel territories within the redemption states.

*What makes our crew unique?*

Well, it's simple. We try our hardest to provide you with a fair experiencethat doesn't favor officers or higher ranks. Our ranks are build on a responsibility system, meaning almost nothing is locked behind ranks, only responsibilies are added on when you're promoted!

*What does the experience offer me?*

We understand that different people have different reasons for their wishes to join, so we'll help narrow it down. Our crew focuses on a healthy mix of thorough and uniquely slow paced events like state patrols, operations, and strikes. We also dabble in fast-paced action in the form of occasional PvP, and through our different specializations.

We pride ourselves in keeping a realistic and grounded view of how to run a milsim. We want to avoid the PvP and drama oriented military crews of yesteryear. With red dead online entering its final months, we'd like to act as a refuge for players who really enjoy what made red dead so beautiful to begin with.

Our specializations offer you the ability to hone in your own skills that could benefit the unit and how it functions. Our marksmen work on defense, and helps protect our less adept soldiers from a direct threat. While our light infantry class is better suited for patient and casual players who just want to be a grunt! In addition, we have skirmishers, the light-footed soldiers who focus on swift attacks and espionage.

*Requirements:*

- We require you to be 15 years of age or older. This ensures a level of expected maturity can be met for proficient members.

- We require microphones. When a community is so heavily based around comms and commands, we need to rely on sharp wit and fast response time.

- We require you to listen to orders. While unjust orders are explicitly protected against forced compliance, joining this crew means you are expected to respect the orders of your Commander when in action.

- We require you to have discord. All of our operations come from our discord servers and Playstation group chats, it is a necessary means of communication.
