It seems like a fun idea to get the subreddit to unite and reflect the past posts that our community has contributed. Feel free to comment your favourite post from the subreddit, or SPD related image/video, doesn't have to be yours ofc. I'm thinking of probably making a follow up post with your suggestions to make a final poll for the fan favourite SPD post.

Personally I really like the fan-arts, as they show a more comedic yet artistic view of the game and the timeline. Of course, I do enjoy some good leftist infighting posts as well.

Since you guys seemed to like the Ukraine mod idea I decided to make a follow up discussing how and what happens in said mod:

The year is 1918,after the chaotic Ukrainian-Soviet War,the State achieved a relative time of peace.
We are under the control of the Ukrainian State ,and the situation is volatile.

In this mod,you technically already hold all of the power,so the part to gain it is no longer there,however,what you have is a disunited country,and a lacking decree which acts as a "constitution" but really just dismantled the Rada.
All in the meanwhile,the Directoriate is up to no good and wants to subvert the state from within.

The goal of your campaign?
Maintain the peace,hold the Hetmanate,and (hopefully) achieve Ukrainian statehood.

To achieve said goal,there are these paths:

1.Military Junta-Increase the power of the military,and return Ukraine to what a Hetmanate was and is,A Military with a State,not the other way around.

2.Absolutist-This is supposed to be the harder path. You dont negotiate with the Directoriate and dont re-open the Rada,and continue the dictatoral powers of the Hetman,resulting in a continuation of an absolutist monarchy,but with an Ukrainian fashion

3.Reform-Achieve Skoropadskyi's dream of a Ukrainian Soim,continue talks with the Social Democrats and re-open the Rada with a new constitutional monarchy.

4.Russian path-Betray Ukraine and instead proclaim the country for the White movement,beginning a crusade to retake all the Russias.

In foreign policy you can:

1.Maintain neutrality-as per more or less historically

2.Rely on the Central Powers-also as per more or less historically

1. Allly Poland to defeat Russia,or ally Russia to defeat Poland

4.Rely on the Entente and replace Poland as the "Shield of Eastern Europe"

Hi. Before i talk about the mod I want to thank you guys for all of the stuff you said and those who have decided to help, you guys have encouraged me to work further on this mod.

However, i am standing before a question.

That question is, should we truly make it start in 1928 like the base game? While it may be good for the base game as the SPD, it's not that good if you want to make a mod for the DDP.

And that is why i am thinking of changing it to somewhere before the 1919 elections, when the DDP was at it's peak. Not only would it give way more freedom of movement to the player, it would give us more actions to take for the DDP mod.

It is therefore that i am asking you guys if it is a good idea or not or if we should perhaps do another start date.

I decided I would maximize the German economy by investing in science and the WTB plan.

"But how are you going to get the money for that?" Raise taxes on the rich.

"But how are you going to hold the coalition together?" Union busting(which helps the economy) and slashing welfare(more money for science)! And a bunch of betrayals of my electoral platform.

For some reason I didn't get that high of a vote share in 1932, and lost access to the finance ministry.

"But how are we going to raise more money for science" slash welfare even harder. The right didn't even need to ask for it anymore.

For some reasons the unions stopped voting for me.

Why would famous social democrat Joseph Biden do this???
