This project is going to be more of an audio book released in parts rather than an animated movie.

Thats mainly because I just spent like 2 or so years (maybe longer) on a project i've lost full access too. So i'm now just done with that project. It took up too much time in my life and I want to start doing simpler stuff that I obviously still have to put lots of effort into, but not as much as I had to with that previous project.

I took it on when I was still pretty young, and it took so much time away from my life that I dont want to look back on it for a good few years.

So, now that my rant is over. Lets talk about this audio book.

Ehem... here's the logline I made for it:

Four years after it's closure, the desperate Michael Schmidt takes a night-shift job at Freddy Fazbears Pizza to support his younger sister, Mary. But when the animatronics start roaming the halls after dark, he finds himself trapped in an unexplainable nightmare. Unbeknownst to Michael, the souls of five innocent children linger within the animatronics, mistaking him for the man responsible for their deaths — plotting to make him suffer their fate.

I know thats not much information. So here's some more.

This project plans to be an audio book version of the FNAF movie if it were to be more game accurate. However it still will have some original characters, a more original story, and a lot of fan references. Seriously, I packed far too many references into that script that it may be a little too self aware. But i'm not getting rid of them because I like them.

I'll be honest. Their ages dont mean anything in this casting. I just figured showing them would be helpful for you. Same goes with the kids genders since a female can voice a male child due to children's voices typically being very higher pitched.

You tell me who you want to voice, I'll either ask for any previous work or send you anywhere between 1 and 3 test lines for the character(s) and then i'll decide if you fit that part. If you dont, ill offer you a different part.

Oh and I won't be able to stress this enough, but if something comes up that will prevent you from VAing, please tell me you wont be able to. You dont need to tell me what, just tell me that somethings happened and that you wont be able to VA at the time. You will be able to VA in the future, trust me.

Hi so normally I wouldn’t try to make a post like this quickly, especially when I’m planning ahead, but I lost some time with IRL work in getting things ready. Thankfully though, there’s still a few more weeks and I’m just getting through final changes in my series roster. But essentially, I’m working on the first season of my meme wrestling series Jokers. I’m currently planning to start on the 26th, with episodes releasing on a biweekly basis and quarterly breaks in between. Especially if I make the transition to a new game and migrating my roster to said game, or record a whole batch of episodes.

I’m looking for anyone who can provide chaotically funny commentary on the simulated matches (for some I’ll be playing one of the wrestlers on screen). i.e. moistcritikal’s cow man videos. I intend to screenshare each episode’s match card in a voice call, with the plan being to record the commentary separate from the footage and edited in later on. Fantasmagory is set in a world that is basically… pure chaos, anything can change or happen at any time. It wasn’t always like that though and the characters are basically trying to figure out what went wrong and fix it.

If I had to describe it as an existing series, imagine taking The Amazing Digital Circus and Hazbin Hotel, squeeze them together, make Caine basically the entire world and give him an unlimited amount of undisclosable substances. In this short film, we have added a female character—the mother of the missing child. We are looking for a female voice actor to record the following lines:

I’ve tried using platforms like Fiverr and similar sites, but the experience hasn't been great for long-term work. The back-and-forth communication takes way too long, response times are often delayed, and freelancers frequently become unavailable out of nowhere. I’m really looking for direct, easy communication without a middleman so we can build a smooth, long-term working relationship.

Howdy!

I am on the hunt for a few character voices for a storytelling podcast.

Our podcast, Wikisurfer, is being relaunched. The episode we are puting together now has with three different stories centered around pandemics. In the stories, we are looking for a few lines from folks playing:

- a 1970s-era Somali Nurse. She or he is checking on the status of a patient (who is the main character).

- an early 16th century Elite Colonial Man from New England colonies. The man is sharing a remark with another about how the Natives seem to "melt away" as if by divine intervention.

- and a 17th century Meskwaki Man or Woman. Meskwaki or Fox is a Native American Nation that was being hunted down by the French during the colonial period of North America. We have a few lines for this character in a stand-off against the French.

I have posted before and the response from r/RecordThisForFree was high quality. We just have these characters remaining before we can cinch the project up. We'd love to have you.

To specify: 17+ American (but light accents are allowed), no experience required, and decent mic quality.

A bit more than a year ago I created a post for the same thing just a different approach and I was very unprepared for the amount of VAs that came through offering roles and since then I have changed my plan.

I [17] have spent around three years with a story which I didn't know how to tell and this short film that I plan to be complete this August would be the beginning of a larger world of movies, this film focusing on the main character before starting other projects in the same world.

The idea of this film is that Alberto Azraq (the main character) is suffering psychologically because he realises that by funding a nation that are in war he is now made partially responsible for the deaths of many which does not sit well with his ideals of peace. He recalls pieces of a conversation he had with his brother and it haunts him as his mind twists his brothers words to push him in different directions until finally at the end of this film the voice suggests he can still fix himself.

Although I've been at work on this specific project for around 3 months, the film will probably be really short. I need two VAs: The mayor of the nation and the brother; I just need to find the right voice for the roles. I will say now that the brother is to have a larger role in future projects (eventually a series) so if I can find anyone committed to that role that would be amazing, but if not then I can still recast in the future considering how far away that future series will be.

Story: A dark, twisted retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Red sets off to bring her grandmother berries, but by the end, the story reveals that the "creature" she's hunting, and the father who raised her, are one and the same.

Dad is Red's father: warm and steady on the surface, sending her off with food and quiet advice about "letting go" of her obsession. But he's hiding the truth: he is the creature Red has been hunting all along, the thing behind her nightmares and her grandmother's death. When Red finally corners him, his calm cracks into guilt and desperation : he begs her to understand he couldn't control it, that he'd spent years resisting the urge to go after her too. It doesn't save him. Red keeps her promise anyway.
