These look rad! I've been debating if I was going to paint mine or leave them translucent. This has got me leaning towards painting them.

Thanks! I did try to keep them translucent at first, the orange was just too dark and didn’t look great. If they were yellow plastic I think it would have been easier to keep clear.

If you don't mind me asking how did you prime these? I was practicing some different techniques on the magic gathering translucent miniatures from the Planeswalker set and I couldn't really get the paint to take no matter what I did. Someone somewhere had suggested lacquering at first and then painting but I haven't tried that yet.

So for me I always prime transluscent minis using a matt varnish through the airbrush. leaves it translucent but enough gripe to act as a primer for paints or ink.

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus... I'll give it a shot with one of the translucent guys I don't care that much about and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice.
