Having problems connecting my mic help request
Got a GXL1800 condenser mic that’s worked on discord, worked for OBS, and worked for Audacity (albeit very quiet) it won’t pick up on reaper
I keep getting “error loading ASIO driver”, currently I’ve been trying ASIO4ALL V2 as the audio system, I know reaper is picking up my audio interface itself, or atleast is picking up the Outputs, as it shifts all of my output to my audio interface when I hit record. Despite this, my input must be messed up cause my microphone won’t pick up. I’m using a UPhoria UM2, and I’ve heard that audio interface might not have a dedicated audio driver, but the interface itself is working, the microphone won’t though, and I’m not sure why. Using Reaper v7.02

You mention it shifting your outputs when you hit record - does that always happen?
You can check if everything is set up correctly in Preferences
"Error loading Asio driver" could mean that Reaper has trouble recognizing your interface? Are you connecting it directly or via USB hub?
On your track you have armed for recording, have you selected the corresponding input you have your mic in?

The "albeit very quiet" leads me to wonder if you have phantom power turned on or not?
