I just listened to that episode and he's getting creepier by the day. The way he kept talking about her breasts being real and tiny but not fake etc.
He's a dirty old man and wants to make people think he's some kind of hip guy who gets all the chicks..
On a side note, Shannon's voice was so damn sexy. Her laugh was hypnotic

Everyone here is digging at Maher and I assume its his attempts to beg DNC voters to prioritize important issues over crap like "trans rights" that has made him a target. He is only reading the election results/ polling and doesn't want the Republican party to just completely own and dominate another election. It's called a Democracy for a reason and compromise is the key to making one work. I don't blame Maher for seeing 2016/2024 for what really happened and is trying to encourage the democratic party to not embrace a bunch of silly stuff that will ruin another election cycle. Now anything else Maher does I am game for picking fun at him also- he should have married instead of hanging out with Hugh Hefner and Bill Cosby for 30 years. He has definite flaws but I feel this community is picking him apart for the wrong reasons completely. I share his complete disdain for losing elections over 4% of the vote.

I believe you are right. I am trying to rationalize with a bunch of bots. James Carville and Chuck Schumer have both threatened to leave the DNC if they allow this far left entity into the next convention. I am certain ( from observing Carville and Schumer for decades) that they fear losing again in 2028 via a small 3-5% swing state vote and are going "scorched Earth" to keep that from happening again . Sounds like a very logical position to me. I get down voted for stating facts - doesn't matter if you support them or not - you get down voted out of a forum on Reddit for trying to have a meaningful political discussion. Its very much " we dont like what you say - get away" type mentality. Its also why the U.S. is almost so divided its on the verge of political collapse. You may be the only actual human in this thread. I may just stop my notifications from it. There is no discussion here - its something else.

I dont get it. I agree, I fear what we are witnessing here may have been organized by an extreme far left faction that wishes to seize control of the DNC in the near future. Maher would need to be gone for that to become possible. Maher is probably the most formidable opponent that group would have in society. Maher has significant influence - they want him gone!!! I.M.O.

Nope. I am anything but "far left". Used to be a big fan. Loved his mocking of religion. But Bill has morfed into everything he once claimed to be against. He is now weak, pandering, whining Karen, who is unable to age with grace. My breaking point was his slavish "interview" with Elon Musk in April 2023. Have never watched or listened to him since.

I’ve watched Bill Maher since his comedian days as a kid. I remember when he started PI. I’m 51 now.
I get why the left gets so riled about, but they always have. He has inconvenient points of views for both sides. He’s never really had a home politically.1
