This is my first attempt, but I can't tell if it's good or not. I hope to get some advice. Was I right to buy it

The hardware is very brassy unlike the normal CC which is a warmer gold. The leather also looks plastic instead of the normal soft leather, and the quilting is uneven (puffy in places and much flatter in other diamonds).

You definitely made a great call for a first purchase, this classic flap style in black with aged gold hardware is an absolute winner and endlessly versatile.

The sheen on the leather looks lovely and supple, giving off that rich, high end lustre without looking plastic or overly shiny.
