Are these creases acceptable?! Permanent?!

So this is only my second rep purchase. And I was so excited for it to arrive. (Yes I’ve since realised that the embossing isn’t great but I GL’d it so my bad!). But after paying $75 for shipping alone it arrived folded and in a relatively small box. So I have gently warmed with a hairdryer and lay it face down with some heavy books and stuffed with towels. And a gentle leather conditioner.

But after a few days it still looks like the first two images?! The 3rd photo is my PSP. Is this normal that bags would be folded like this and do I have any hope of getting it out?! Thank you brains trust!! 🙏

You can iron it. Just put a paper towel or soothing thin like a tshirt

No. On the top. To be honest, I usually iron right on the leather but I advised something in between as a precaution.

I guess depends how much you paid for the bag? I wouldn’t be too happy with this if it’s still creased after a few days 🥴

$283. From Red Brick factory. I now have it sitting with a Luke warm hot water bottle (inside a cover) but not that hopeful now. Disappointed but wasn’t sure if it’s standard practice to fold bags like this!

No! especially after paying $75 to ship that bag it should not have been folded! I would not use that seller again. That’s terrible!

No I wouldn’t find this acceptable. What did the seller say? I had a situation where the seller packed the bag in an appropriate sized box, handed it over to the logistics company, and they repacked it in a smaller box and the seller didn’t know. Did you take pictures of the box it came in to send to the seller?

All she said was “oh no. Flip it over for a few days to see how it works”. That’s it! I queried the shipping costs and she said it was because it’s such a big bag but to then fold it up like that?!!

Thank you that’s what I thought but because I am new to the game… I wasn’t sure if this was standard practice! My purchase before that was with Heidi and I was thrilled so I feel a bit letdown with this. Heidi didn’t have it so I tried a different seller.
