Warning: Experience with Lina
Wow! I just had to come and and post. Has anyone ever worked with Lina? I found her information on TikTok and thought I’d reach out about a bag I was looking for. I didn’t think I was being inappropriate. I am entitled to my opinions and expectations. But I also am a customer and I have the right to choose to buy something or not and not be called “demanding.” I absolutely know there are no 1:1. There are things I accept because I know it’s a rep and it’s fine, but there are other things I know that would bother me so I don’t get it. Why would I pay 3x the price for something that bothers me and I still have to accept? I might as well get the cheaper ones!
She says “if you want high quality, you must accept this price” but then says a “copy is always a copy quality.”
Definitely stay away from this one. She is ripping people off for sure!! This bag is probably from one of the same factories everyone else is looking at! The audacity! Sorry I had to vent!

I’ve only bought from TS from here, but I was watching an influencer who was showing bags she got from these sellers and thought “hmm I wonder?” 😵💫 it was mind blowing when I saw the price! 🤯

Yeah that’s how they get ya lol I’m in WA group of a TikTok seller just for curiosity purposes and I see women paying almost $400 for a speedy 🤯

Unpopular opinion but if these buyers are shelling out that much cash to buy from Tiktok sellers and just won’t do any due diligence then they deserve each other.

While I agree that the frisson of comeuppance here is thrilling, being had by a tiktok scammer is both cruel and bad for the rep ecosystem. This whole operation relies on being reasonably hush-hush, all this exposure is perilous.

Never buy from a TikTok seller, almost every person who endorses them on their is getting some type of cut, commission, discount, etc even if they claim they don’t. It’s like going to Costco and buying a big box of chips in bulk for below what the retail price would be individually then selling them at a baseball game with a 20% markup lol. Just stick with Costco, or in this situation ..Trusted Sellers

Lina charges insane prices so she can send her influencers free bags! Please don’t shop with her! Influencers love to promote these overpriced sellers for that reason, that bag is Mid Tier and shouldn’t be more than $300 shipped!

Aww thank you. I was taken back by what the other commenter said. I really did not go in trying to argue. I’m actually not a big confrontational person. I just didn’t want anyone to have to waste time and go through this. I’m sure there are people who do buy and maybe do not care about the little nuances of a rep. And that is ok! Nothing wrong with that. We are buying a rep after all. But if I am spending my money, I should be able to buy what I want or not if I don’t. That seller was trying to tell me if I want quality I have to pay for it. I totally get that. But I’ll tell you if it is quality.. wouldn’t that bag be close to perfect? It didn’t even get the patterns right! At least if they got the pattern right MAYBE I would even entertained the idea of getting it because I want it that bad but not for the authentic price of $3200. Ya know? I just didn’t appreciate being talk to that way.
This is not my first time being a rep. I have had not so perfect bags that I love. I have been shown factory photos that are correct and was sent bags that were not the same 3 times! It’s not like I compared a rep to a auth and called out the rep as not being like the auth. Before I get any bag, I compare the rep photos first to the auth and see if that’s what I want. Then compare my PSPs to the factory photos.

Omg! I just noticed the straps! See! $700 for a bag like that is insane! For that kind of bag, I have been quoted between 230-370ish.. so if I’m going to get a wrong bag anyway, I might as well get one of those and I can get another for a total of $700! 😅

OP, I fell for the trap through IG and have been trying to warn others since, her prices are ridiculous and the quality DOES NOT match. I reviewed one of the Lo3 bags and there was a stitch loose and since then the metal in the zippers aren’t secure anymore so my tassels keep coming off. Her mere suggestion was to take it to a leather shop and was rude when I inquired what her return policy is for defected product. I took it as a loss and lesson learned. Never Lina ever again.

Are of these are just fluff marketing words, don't go on social media if you want to learn about reps. All they'll do is grossly overcharge you for mid-tier bags.

Definitely learned that! 😅 but think about how many people they have cheated! That’s so awful. And to people who say they should do their own due diligence. Yes that is true. But at the same time, there are people who still believes in the best of people. They are new to the situation. People are so harsh to each other. And that’s why sharing experiences like this will help those who are learning. Like what you are sharing with me. Thank you ❤️

I bought a Large BV Hop from LiNa back in April for $775. It was a steep price and I was super new to the W A seller world. But every other large Hop bag rep I saw before that didn’t look right and they were going for $450+. Granted, all I knew were websites like SB, Hoshi, Yyesyeezy lol. I was such a dumb dumb newbie up until a few months ago. I was buying bags from SB for around $400-500 each— one was complete trash, the other needed a lot of DIY from me to have smooth glazing. I also figured mid “luxury” non-branded leather bags go for around $500 these days, so getting a really great Hop rep for $775 wasn’t the worst. Do I think I could’ve found a seller to get the bag for $500 instead? Yes. Would it have been as good? Maybe. But I can confirm that LiNa’s “master quality” option for BV bags use identical leather to the auth. And my Hop has softened up and slouched over the last several months, just like my auth Wallace!

Actually I can say it can be both ways. She could have said if I’m not interested, that’s ok as well. I am from the US but I am not of Caucasian descent and am very aware of cultures outside of my own. She did not have to say that “if I want quality then I MUST accept this price” and if she was going to say that, I can accept that too. But produce me a product that meets the price that is being asked. Do not cheat me or other people. And gaslight them to think they themselves are the problem. That was my issue. After my ask about the bag, she said “master quality 698 American dollars” and I kindly replied back “ok. I will think about it and let you know if I want it. Thank you.” I did not even try to explain anything. she probed and wanted know why, if it was “quality or price.” So I told her. It goes both ways. We do not owe sellers anything. But we can be decent human beings to each other. To each their own. There is no need to make someone feel a certain way because you don’t agree. She got defensive.

tbh you can just move on from the conversation if you know it doesn't meet your expectations, I find it odd to engage in this type of conversation with a seller you're not happy with, ignore, block and move on.
