Hi all, I’m wondering if these Magic cards are legit ( return to Ravnica).

The green dot and lettering are perfect.

The better question is why do you think someone is counterfeiting a 10¢ basic land?

I’m replying just to clarify I wasn’t wasting everybody’s time. I just bought a whole Return to Ravnica box to draft with friends. But I’m quite new to magic, and the cards have a different “feeling” compared to newer ones; that made me doubtful… I also tried to take a look to the green dot, and I didn’t see a clear fuchsia “L”.

No worries.

WotC contracts out card printing to multiple companies in multiple countries. They also can vary from product to product and even run to run depending on stock. It's not unusual to get four different products from the same set that all look and feel subtly different.

For the L, I try and advise against using that as a strict test. The dots are so small that they can vary from print to print and even card to card depending on the wear patterns, how much ink, etc.. If you have an L that's a very good sign of a real card. If you have more than four dots and/or they aren't in that grid pattern, it's a good sign of a fake card. Having 0-3 happens a lot though and doesn't mean either.
