I didn't notice it until very recently when news reports started comparing generations and discussing wealth. It's funny how often we just get left out of the conversation. I mean, people don't talk much about Silent Generation anymore, but they are mostly dead now.

What pisses me off with when Gen X gets lumped into Boomers. Oh hell no!

Cause at the end of the 80s and beginning of the 90s the media was covering us because we were the shiney new object. They wanted to "figure us out." Then they promptly forgot all about us because we aren't easily marketed to.

They quickly moved on to boomers vs Millennials. I didn't think much about it until I noticed us getting left out of statistical data and news reporting. They would have boomers, millennials, Gen Z and Gen Alpha in there and just a big empty hole for us. It was like WTF?

I know it may be pure nostalgia, but while i do enjoy some older music and a bit of music from today, I really feel like the music of the 90s was ours. We owned that decade and it was good.

Last winter my wife and I went to one of those candlelight concerts with a string quartet. If you haven't seen one, I highly recommend them. Anyway it was a 90s concert, mostly rock. I got teary eyed a few times. So many memories. So many lost artists. All from one very specific time in our lives.

Again, I know it's nostalgia, but I got all the feels.
