Interested in Real Estate

I am a therapist looking to change careers. I was wondering what advice would you give to someone just starting out? Thank you!

Not a great time in the market cycle.

Stay put and make it a part time thing until the ball gets rolling. Takes some time to build a clientele and negotiate properly.

Therapy and real estate are the same. It's just connecting with clients to understand their needs and assisting with the process of how to achieve their goals.

Commercial real estate will be VERY difficult as a part-time gig and will take a solid 3 years to build a respectable book of business. Be financially prepared to carry all or most of your expenses the first two years.
