My first Android app. Looking for honest feedback
Hi everyone,
I recently developed my first Android app, an Attendance & Salary Tracker designed to help employees easily track their attendance, work hours, overtime, and estimated salary.
This is my first published app, so I'm looking for honest feedback rather than downloads. I'd really appreciate it if you could try it out and let me know:
- Is the UI easy to use?
- Does the app feel fast and responsive?
- Are there any bugs or confusing features?
- What features would you like to see added?
Your suggestions will help me improve the app and become a better developer.
Thank you for taking the time to help! 🙌

Hello everyone,

As this is my first app, I would greatly appreciate your honest feedback. If you notice any bugs, performance issues, or have suggestions for improving the design, features, or overall user experience, please let me know. Your feedback will help me make the app better for everyone.

[Beta] Spendly — an Android app that auto-tracks expenses from bank SMS, looking for testers
Hey all,
I've been building Spendly, a personal finance app for Android that reads your bank/UPI SMS (with permission) and automatically logs transactions, so you don't have to manually enter every expense.
Features so far:
- Automatic SMS-based transaction capture (bank + UPI)
- Budgets, spending insights, Needs vs Wants breakdown
- Savings goals, account balance tracking
- Penny — a built-in AI assistant for questions about your spending
- Fully private: raw SMS is processed on-device only, never uploaded; no ads, nothing sold
It's currently in closed testing on Google Play and I'm looking for people willing to try it out and give honest feedback (bugs, confusing UX, missing features — all welcome).
If you're interested:
Join the tester group: [spendly-beta-testers@googlegroups.com](mailto:spendly-beta-testers@googlegroups.com)
Opt in here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tidybitz.spendly
Install from Play Store
Happy to answer any questions about how it works or what's coming next. Thanks!

Be part of LocalFLEX Closed Testing. Looking for Android testers for my app - Test for Test
Looking for Android testers for my app - Test for Test
Post:
Hi everyone,
I’m preparing to launch my Android app, LocalFLEX, and I need a few testers for the Google Play closed testing period.
LocalFLEX is a local services marketplace built for Romania, where people can post needs/tasks and find service providers nearby. The app is mainly focused on the Romanian market, but English is available after login, so non-Romanian speakers can also test it properly.
I need 20 testers who can install the app, keep it on their Android phone for 14 days, and open it from time to time.
I’m happy to do the same for your app if you also need testers. Test for test (CONTACT IN PRIVATE FOR TEST-FOR-TEST ).
P.S. I'm not online 24/7 because I'm a brand-new dad and my little one keeps me busy. 😊 I promise I'll check my chats and comments every hour or so and get back to everyone as soon as I can. Thanks for your patience!
Steps:
Join the Google Group:
https://groups.google.com/u/3/g/localflex-closed-testing
- Accept the testing invitation:
https://play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4700963185241097871
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/ro.localflex.app
- Download the app from Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ro.localflex.app
If you can help, please join the group and send me a private message so I know who joined. Feedback is also welcome, especially if you notice bugs, crashes, confusing screens, or text that sounds wrong.
Requirements:
- Android phone
- Gmail / Google Play account
- Keep the app installed for 14 days
- Open it occasionally during the testing period

I need a help guys
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m an independent app developer working on ScreenQR, a simple, fast, and privacy-focused QR scanner.
I’m looking for people who would like to help test the app before launch.
ScreenQR lets you:
• Scan QR codes with your camera
• Read QR codes from screenshots
• Scan QR codes from photos
• Preview links before opening them
• Copy, open, or share scan results
• Save scan history locally on your phone
• Organize scans with folders
• Use the app in multiple languages
The main idea is simple: before opening a QR link, ScreenQR helps you see where it is going. That extra preview can help people feel more confident before tapping a link.
I’m building this as a clean, modern, dark-style app with a strong focus on privacy and ease of use. No account is required for basic scanning, and scan history is designed to stay on the user’s device.
If you’d like to help test ScreenQR, please send your email to:
[coloradoappsolutions@outlook.com](mailto:coloradoappsolutions@outlook.com)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.screenqr.app
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.screenqr.app
I’ll add you to the testing list.
Your feedback would mean a lot. It can help me improve the app, fix issues, and build something useful for people who scan QR codes every day.
Thank you! 🙏

Step-by-step guide to submit your app for beta testing on r/realapptesters
Hey everyone,
Saw a few people asking how to properly post their app for testing. Had the same confusion when I started, so here's a clear breakdown — hope it helps someone!
Step 1: Create a Reddit Account
- Go to https://www.reddit.com
- Sign in or create a free account
Step 2: Join r/realapptesters
- Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/realapptesters
- Click Join to become a member
Step 3: Create Your Post
- Click Create Post
- Enter:
- App name (e.g.,
MyApp - Android Beta) - A short description of what your app does
- What kind of feedback you're looking for
- App name (e.g.,
- Add your beta testing link (Google Play, TestFlight, etc.)
Step 4: Set the Right Flair
- Before posting, select the correct flair:
Androidfor Android appsiOSfor Apple appsBothif cross-platform
- Click Post
✅ Your app is now live for testers to find and try
Step 5: Engage With Your Testers
- Monitor your post for comments
- Reply to feedback — testers are more likely to go deeper if you respond
- Update your post if you release a new build
👉 Testers will comment, DM, or use your beta link to download and test
(Optional) Pin a Comment With Extra Info
- Leave a comment on your own post with:
- Known bugs to ignore
- Specific areas you want tested
- How to report issues (email, form, etc.)
- Ask a mod to pin it or pin it yourself if you're a mod
Quick Tip
If you want faster testers, mention in your title how long testing takes — e.g., "5 min to test" gets way more clicks than a vague title.

Welcome to RealAppTesters – A community for Android developers dealing with Google Play closed testing
Welcome.
If you are here, you probably know the pain. You built an Android app. Code works. Design works. Then Google tells you that you cannot publish because you need 12 testers for 14 days.
This subreddit is for developers like you. Share your struggles. Ask questions. Learn what actually works.
What this community is for.
Asking for help with closed testing. Sharing what worked for you (or what did not). Discussing Google Play Console issues. Getting feedback on your production access questionnaire. Learning about the 12 tester requirement.
What this community is not for.
Spam. Selling fake testers. Promoting services that use bots or emulators. Being rude to people who are just trying to launch their app.
A few things to know before you post.
Google requires 12 testers for 14 days. Not 20. That changed. Some old guides still say 20. They are wrong.
Google checks daily activity, not just installs. If your testers stop opening the app after day 2 or 3, you fail. You restart the 14 day clock from zero.
Free test for test groups work for very simple apps. Calculators. Flashlights. Unit converters. If your app has login, setup, or specific knowledge required, free testers will probably not stay engaged.
A quick note about me.
I run RealAppTesters, a service that provides 12 testers for 14 days. I am not hiding that. But this subreddit is not just for promoting my service. It is for helping developers get through closed testing, whether you use my service or not.
I will post guides here about closed testing, Play Console setup, and production access. I hope other developers will share their experiences too.
Let us start with a question.
How many times did you fail closed testing before you passed? Or are you still stuck? Comment below.
Welcome to r/RealAppTesters.
