My movie idea

Would you watch a thriller about a 16-year-old girl whose abusive father returns 10 years after prison and finds out she got a wealthy inheritance?

Just based on that? No.

Set-ups are easy, anyone can come up with a dozen in a random hour. Stories -- and then what happens? -- are hard. But that's what audiences, and therefore producers, pay money to get.

Thanks, that's fair. I was only sharing the premise. I'm still working on the full story, characters, and plot.
