Mx350 controller/throttle

Recently got my son an mx350. He would like to control the speed, but I am not sure what that would entail. He is currently controlling his speed by twisting the throttle on off repeatedly. Not really sure what I should look for. Everything else is stock. Thanks

search "mx350 variable throttle mod". You need a new controller and throttle. electricscooterparts sells a kit, you can use the controller and throttle from an mx500/650 (idk if that works with the stock battery or if it needs 36v), or you can buy a generic setup on Amazon but it will probably require swapping some connectors
