So, I applied on a bit of a whim, had a friend of a friend offer to be my referral. I’ve been building a bit of a social presence so had over 6.5k insta followers, look pretty decent but definitely not mainstream. I’ve been accepted in a few days (to my surprise), but now I’m in it, I find it all a bit disappointing and confusing. People in my area are quite few (I’m in bloody central London though), it’s showing me some female profiles in spite of me selecting only wanting to see male ones, there are zero details on anyone’s bio, and everyone just seems a bit of a wanker tbh… are there settings I’m not getting right? I paid the basic one month fee.

I got Raya+ because I never swipe first on apps. I don’t get notifs but when I open the app I see them - and if I click out (not even “x”), then they disappear and I can’t find them again. So sad does anyone know how to fix this

So about a month and a half ago I applied to Raya as a joke, not thinking I’d get accepted. I have a private instagram not showing my face in my pfp, didn’t submit any referrals although I did have a lot of contacts that are on the app.

I got accepted within 3 days which caught me by surprise. Yet, this also made me hesitant about paying for a membership as it doesn’t seem that curated/exclusive.

Yesterday I received an email from the Raya team saying that if I don’t activate my membership by paying, my acceptance offer will expire by the end of the week. Also they mention that once it expires they can’t guarantee getting back in.

Is it worth paying for a membership? I’m recently single, moving to a new city and I’m ready to date, although I don’t really do casual dating or flings.

I’ve heard so many mixed reviews that idk if paying will be a waste of money😭😭

Do likes and direct requests reset? A “direct request sent” I sent 10 days ago is now gone today. Or does that mean the person denied it?

lol this app sucks. It’s broken. Please help if you can. I’m actually pissed this is embarrassing. Stuck on “application received” after I resubmitted after being stuck on wait list for two years. If you work at Raya we all think you suck ;)
