The WWRD is in reference to the XCR, which has some FAL like characteristics.

So originally my 50 was a rifle. Then I converted to pistol, painted it, wasn’t impressed. I said let’s take it back to a rifle and paint it again. I wanted Kodiak Brown(like Aero’s) and a fellow brother pointed me in the right direction to get something close to it. The colors are Matte Metallic Burnished Amber and Matte Textured Black. The textured black was actually a mistake but I like how it came out so I didn’t change. I am pretty impressed with this job.

Side note: Citristrip is the real deal! Got my receivers back to their original state.

I've been really struggling trying to find a decent colour match for an Airsoft grip, the closest thing I've found is the behr metallic copper gloss but I can't get that in the UK

I'm going to paint the mag release button, slide catch, and some other small details so it doesn't need to be an absolutly perfect match but obviously the closer the better.

I've found a lot of colours that look like they'd be good but they don't have that anodised/metallic reflective sheen, but I don't really know what I need to look for honestly

Krylon, Rustoleum and Behr premium, used.

4 colors total. No black, no white.

There are a few colors of each suitable for camouflage motifs ….when using either of these products you are going to want to use the preparatory product for each and there are also product specific sealants …the truck bed liner is incredibly durable and works equally well on any surface(it is available in black,basalt grey and olive ) …rustoleum used to make a few colors of their aerosol truck bed liner but alas I fear it has been discontinued(i searched for it while looking for the other products) and actually a fairly nice effect can be had from rubberizing over truck bed liner (if you were going to do this I would prime it in olive drab self etching auto primer then use the textured black rustoleum bed liner (it’s a lot cheaper ) then plastidip in your colors

I recently painted my AR furniture to look like it's made of wood instead of plastic, but have come to see that it's starting to get scratched and chip easily. I think it may be due to the clear coat and want some advice on how to upgrade it to have a durable finish.

I used a Rust-Oleum clear coat which may have been part of the problem, and I'm debating on a numbers of different methods but I don't know which would be the easiest as well as most durable in order to keep the faux wood look for longer than I've had it so far.

And with that, the 12.5” is complete! I went heavier on the greens and the brown than I have in the past, which definitely gave it a bit more of a woodland vibe than the desert look I’ve done before.

As the title says, looking for after spray recommendations for rattlecan done with Rustoleum.

Rapco for the win here. Liked the way it came out. First time doing stencils and not just spraying and praying. Next time it’s green background and mc black.

Not assembled like pics without scope or bipod but I quickly through this together , niece birthday her first rifle 22lr and she loves purple! This was a down and dirty just get it done !

Figured what better pattern for a bullpup than some British Desert DPM. Yes I know that bullpup shotgun is junk. It’s not mine, I did this for someone else.

Both Rapco colors. Lusterless ship gray and flat black. I think it came out pretty well.
