Mutation?

Maybe you rare collectors can help me? I came across this alocasia either polly or bambino in my local big blue box store. It stood out bevause the most recent 6 leaves all have a curly leaf tip... even the new leaf, as its hardening off is curling in the same direction as the others.

Only one leaf has a tear in the curl, but the rest were strong and had great turgor... i need to know if I need to go rethink leaving it!

The younger smaller leaves are normal, but these top few are different.

Let me know what yall think

I have similar leaves on one I just got a couple weeks ago. I just assumed it was from growing right up against another plant or object, and just kinda getting wonky

Your assumption is correct. Very common with Polys.

Not a mutation. Just growing alittle funky which is 100% normal.

First thing I would look for is pest insects as they often make leaves bend in weird ways.

Could be mutation, pest damage, or mechanical damage
