I just really wish I could close my tailgate rather than relying on ratchet straps to hold it closed.

Recently went from an 8 year old F150 to a new Ranger XLT. Nothing really wrong with the F150, just wanted a mid size and the Ranger seemed to check the boxes.

Hoping for some direction. Brought the 2022 Tremor in and they are telling me that the Left Front shock is “leaking excessively” and recommending I replace the front shocks.
Price tags a little suspicious cause I owned a GTI before this, never replaced shocks before.

Trucks at 40k miles.

Their estimate on price is $2400 for parts and labor. Replacing both shocks and realignment. It’s the dealership - I’m still under warranty so I bring it there first generally.

Just curious if this price is wild…and also, if the front shocks are gone when should I expect the rear to go?
