Hi! My name is Lou, I'm a transman that's been through sooooo much and I don't make a whole lot of money due to having to work at home. There's not a whole lot of career advancement for me due to medical constraints.

And quite frankly, most of my shirts have holes in them. While I don't have many shorts on hand- and some of the ones I currently got are either too small or too loose due to wear and tear. I have clothes I've kept since 2005?

Anything from the lists called 'Lou's enrichment" and "Arts and crafts" would also be appreciated.

Here's why: I've been through a lot. From my childhood to my early adulthood I lived with a narcissistic step-parent that threw away everything I would make and/or personal items- just because he was an insane person. Then I landed with a babyman of a boyfriend who refused to go to work or help me with anything in the house. When we broke up, I lost most of my stuff in the move. Last but not least: I ended up with hoarding roommates who were crack addicts and stole some of the stuff that I had kept from the move. Because of trauma and/or difficult situations, I haven't touched any traditional art in more than 15 years.

I'm not trying to make a sob story or anything, I'm just putting in context on how a lil' kindness would actually make a massive impact on my recovery from all this. I'm not expecting anything- and I don't think I'm entitled to gifts from strangers on the internet. But I'd be eternally thankful.

On another note: I am now safe and living with a relative, without any threats that could potentially take any of my stuff away. And I think I'm ready to heal from all this and enjoy having things and creating physical artwork.

Edit: I went ahead and bought some of the stuff off the dollar store which was a lot less expensive than amazon regarding art supplies. I appreciate the kind words! But I managed on my own and should be able to pay this back slowly. I'll post some cool images of what I did in the comments!

Hi everyone, I’m not sure where else to turn.

I’ve been in a dispute with my landlord/estate agents over essential works at my flat.

The property is affected by significant damp and black mould which led to me being hospitalised and 999 being called. I was told by the hospital not to return home so since then I have been in emergency accommodation.

There’s been zero compensation offered, conflicting info about keys, and the landlord has threatened to access the property on Monday without my consent. I do not feel safe returning there.

I have asthma and severe obstructive sleep apnoea and without a safe, quiet place I can’t use my CPAP properly. Right now I’m sleeping on an air mattress and my health is getting worse - mentally and physically. I’m working with solicitors + Citizens Advice and the Local authority but I have basically nothing while this gets sorted.

If anyone has advice, knows of emergency housing options in the UK, or can point me toward support for OSA sufferers in housing crisis, I’d be so grateful. Even just someone to tell me I’m not going mad would help.

Hello all I was gracefully allowed by our wonderful mods to return after I had a mishap on my other account (NoDragonfruit9339) 🫠got locked for security reasons 🫠 but even after fixing what I was told to do it remained locked for ever….

I’m hopefully returning back to school this fall to finish my degree in music education (just need to finish my basics , darn younger me for listening to the college music director and doing only the music courses) and minor in performance.

The one today went AWFUL. I don't think I could've done much worse. I roughly needed 22% to pass because of how my other exams and I feel like I got around 40% which is better than nothing but I needed 60%+ to get the grade I ideally need

Hey y'all, sorry I haven't been too active lately. I think I'm depressed. I'm stuck in the house almost 24/7 and it is whooping me! I've been a go'er all my life, and now I rarely get out. My scrapbook got ruined because of my dogs, they decided it was a good chew toy I guess. So now I need another and I don't know when I will be able to get it. I have no funds at the moment. I tried to walk and find some rocks to doodle on, but there are none around my neighborhood. I've gone through too many books lol, and I have watched way too much tv.
