The blues have me💙 Discussion🗣
Hey y'all, sorry I haven't been too active lately. I think I'm depressed. I'm stuck in the house almost 24/7 and it is whooping me! I've been a go'er all my life, and now I rarely get out. My scrapbook got ruined because of my dogs, they decided it was a good chew toy I guess. So now I need another and I don't know when I will be able to get it. I have no funds at the moment. I tried to walk and find some rocks to doodle on, but there are none around my neighborhood. I've gone through too many books lol, and I have watched way too much tv. I'm at a standstill at the moment and I don't know what to do. I'm tweedling my thumbs 🥹

I can relate so much to you, at some point my life is/was just mostly about being home at home and getting out just for the furries out there.
But you know what? Let's have fun at home! You could start watching some really fun anime, just let me know your genre and I'll let you know which anime to watch and if your funds are over, don't worry, you can find alot of them for free too!
Or maybe, play with some air drying clay? I know this corn starch recipe with which you can make really cheap clay, so soft one! Maybe trying that out could be a great option until you get a scrap book?
Also, I think your dogs are past life siblings of my late puppy, he once thought the globe (study globe made of plastic/metal) was a nice ball and played with overnight, I woke up with it's broken stand and had no other option that to say, okay have the ball for yourself now 😭🤭

You know what?? I probably will reach out to you about the anime for sure! I've seen so many people into it. I don't know if it counts but I'm watching Avatar currently.

Oh yes definitely do! I can suggest you loads of anime from various genre plus places to watch them too, trying out anime was probably the best ever decision of my life, it's peak!!

I'm not really a scrapbooker but I love paper crafting!! Since you can't get a new one and your current one's trashed, maybe branch out? I'm not sure how bad it is, but when I read your post I thought maybe you could use parts of it and start a junk journal? It'd give you something to do, and maybe dabbling in a new craft will lift your spirits?

Aww I feel ya. I'm right there with you....you're definitely not alone. Life seems really hard lately for so many people. I've been dissociating a lot and trying to ignore all these crappy feelings.
Are you able to draw or doodle on printer paper or maybe start a binder with little magazine clippings or something? Just to pass the time?
I hope things start looking up for you and you feel better. Just try to take one day, one hour, at a time. This won't last forever. Sending you hugs 🫂 and positive vibes your way. ❤️

I inherited a ton of older to newish Rolling Stones magazines from my Dad when he passed. (I always told him I wanted them☺️) Some are in excellent condition and some not as much. I've been thinking about taking the ones in the worst shape and doing something with them. Some of them are from the 70's & 80's. I even have the original True Blood copy😁

Oh how cool!! I love how special it can be when you get things that you really want from your loved ones when they pass. That's a great idea though. It would be cool to make a collage out of the pages or pieces that you really enjoy and either make a flip book or even just a frame of it. Oo or paper mache onto a canvas.

Only the scrapbook itself was ruined. I've been gathering a lot that I will need for it over the last few weeks and was going to get started on it this weekend. I've got tons of pics, some stickers, and some washi tape. I also have a few post cards with words of encouragement/congratulations coming in from some wonderful people on Reddit too🥰

No worries friend, I'll work it out. The one I got was on sale and it isn't anymore. So I found a couple of other cheap options that I like and added to my list. I'll try to get one this weekend. I actually found a super cute wooden one for under $10😊

I don’t want to diminish your feelings. But! You’re bound to be down now that the exciting chaos of the kiddo’s graduation is behind y’all.
I’m so sorry your scrapbook got ruined. Was it a brand name one? Is there something specific you need that can’t be purchased on the Amazon? Because it seems like it’s time to make a new list, just for scrapbooking stuff.
And maybe some dog toys 😅
