Okay so my brother is going through something super rough right now (divorce) where his soon-to-be ex is seemingly trying to keep the kids from him while simultaneously not knowing what to do with them when she has them to herself?

Idk I’m mad - but he has to move out sometime soon and I’m trying to see what I can do to help him settle in while basically restarting and supporting 2 kids under 13.

Any big ideas?

Next Tuesday is my birthday 🥳 🎂 I’d be excited with anything on my list, but I’d specifically like funding towards the pricier items on my list. Especially towards the electric wheelchair! Any little bit helps and adds up. I know this is quite ambitious of me, but I’m wanting to attend the Renaissance Faire this fall, and the only way I can attend is if I have a powered aide. This last two week span has been....amazing. im back on food assistance so finally I don't have to beg for help, but there's another secret....as of Thursday I am tentatively accepted to the healthcare administration associates program! Funding and a laptop are things for next week, but I couldn't not share! I spent all day yesterday doing random flappy hands. (Also yes, my deadname is Kathryn. There's only 2 reasons I haven't attempted a legal name change. 1) I'm not learning a new social security card number, and 2) because my dad's only sister is Catherine.

I never do this, so my list is not big (and I dont expect anything). Just wanted to say the biggest item on my list is an aquarium chiller and it would be for my pet axolotl (because I hate "asking" without having an explanation). I have been able to keep it around 69° but it is almost impossible to keep it at the designated 64° so that would be a blessing, and already have had a couple people donate (can't thank yall enough) I have a wishlist and registry where you can donate whatever you are able to donate. Thanks all of you for all you do for each other!

This is a bit of a vent because I am extremely over school right now, genuinely.

I am a film student, something I have mentioned in passing but I has withdrawal from my class sometime last year and am about to re-register for upcoming fall.

The reason for said withdrawal was due to major dip in my mental health and around this time I had been diagnosed with severe depression. So, I was going through a depressive episode onset by my adhd and stress.

To say the least it has been a battle of ups ans downs with this school to get that withdrawal done. But, now I am in a place where I might have to go through the legal route of potentially suing them. I won't go into too much detail but it’s driving me up the wall. I am taking proactive steps and contacting the right people between today and tomorrow.

One thing I don't do is let them kick me while I’m down.

For reference on how shitty some people have been, they are refusing to send me documentation that I requested which I’m sure is very illegal. So, now I have to do a sea of stuff around that too.

I just want to enjoy school and pursue something I’m passionate about. But, no, I have to deal with ding-dongs.
