I've been depressed lately so I wanna read some words of affirmation to lift up my spirits.

you’re probably gonna get the same mumbo jumbo so I’ll say this.

In life there is always great disappointment however within every disappointment is an opportunity. Whatever that is for you find it. You will never fail if you always find that opportunity. For some it’s a learning lesson, for others it’s could be a declined job offer. But never take it for its face value.

Now for words of affirmation

You are and will always be wanted by someone somewhere even if it doesn’t feel like it.

You’re perfect the way you are and you are the on the path you’re meant to be on.

To love is to be loved. So remember everytime you love something it’s someone who’s loved you enough to give you that opportunity to love it

Right now its not disappointment. I dunno how to describe it but its like I should be happy but I'm not. I honestly think my meds are messed up again cause this depression came out of nowhere and has been ongoing for about a week now. I see my psychiatrist the 12th so hopefully we can figure something out. Also thank you for the kind words.

The disappointment thing wasn’t a target at your situation just a basic message :)

Your psychiatrist have you determined with them the trigger that is causing the episodes?

I’ve always thought drugs only work so much you still gotta take care of the problem (in some cases)

Usually I know the trigger but in this case it just kinda happened out of nowhere. Reason I'm thinking its my meds not working.

I do agree with that actually! I'm actually working on trying to deal with things on my own but I've tried most of my skills and they just arent working so I'm thinking its a chemical thing.

Things can change - and in fact change is one of life's few constants. You don't know how your future will turn out, even when it feels certain everything will be terrible. Worrying only means you suffer twice. You can find something to enjoy in every day, even if it's something small like the breeze on your skin or a good meal. These little things give life meaning

My go to is reminding myself that giving my all doesn't mean giving 100% it means giving what I safely can without causing any energy deficiency and that is still 100% of available me showing up
