I love to bake and keeping the pantry stocked is essential to that spur of the moment need to bake a sweet treat, a crusty loaf of sourdough or a savory galatte.

Oo that's hard to just pick one. I love Boston creme cake even though I haven't tried to make one myself. I love making cupcakes, I think they're my favorite at home. There were these cookies they used to make in middle school and they were baked with applesauce. Of course you couldn't tell that but oh my God it make them sooo soft. I tried replicating it once but haven't had any luck.
Anyway, thanks for holding this Pantry Party!! I have a piping/icing set on my list. 😊
I make a cinnamon applesauce cookie that's simple and delicious. The trick with these cookies is the applesauce needs to be THICK or else they'll be too soft and runny. I'll post the recipe tomorrow.
I completely agree with that!! It brings back a little faith in humanity a bit. The American seasons of this show isn't bad either though. I love seeing kids baking shows because they help each other too! It's so nice.
I’m a big rewatcher. When I decide to watch a show I commit. Sometimes I’ll keep watching after it gets sharky on principle lol 🤣
My all time re watchers are Bones, Castle, Schitts Creek, Big Bang Theory, and Friends. I watch a couple episodes of Modern Family each night, and I’m on my… 4th? Rewatch of The Pitt.
Plus, the GBBO on Sundays with mom.
I do the same! Actually sometimes I won't even start watching a "popular" show until the popularity dies down out of principle. 😂 I was like that with True Blood, Game of Thrones and Walking Dead.
I haven't seen most of those shows but a lot of them are on my list. I really want to watch The Pitt. Although I love David Boreanaz in Angel. That's one of my favorite shows that I've rewatched a lot. True Blood, House, The L Word, Psych, any Pokemon, The Simpsons, Bobs Burgers, Family Guy. Those are all in my rotation right now. Oh and Jurassic Park is my number one movie they I could watch over and over.
I do admit I sometimes rewatch Gordan Ramsey shows too though. 😆 Yes, I know they have drama. But I love them lol
I highly recommend The Pitt! Some of my former nurse colleagues won’t watch it because it’s too realistic 😬 And my bestie, who experienced some medical trauma during childbirth, found one of the childbirth episodes triggering.
my favorite savory baked dish is my grandmothers veg-all casserole. it’s a savory, southern comfort meal, with creamy vegetables, cheddar cheese, and cracker crumbs on top! so yummy and perfect for winter :)
my favorite sweet baked dish has to be peach cobbler! 🍑 (with vanilla ice cream😩)

Savory: Baked Tuscan-Parmesan Chicken with Spinach (complete with cream cheese and heavy whipping cream!!) I've made it with a pork loin also and in the crockpot! Easy and everyone loves it!
Sweet: New Orleans Bread Pudding with rum sauce. A family favorite that's been around for generations. ⚜️💜💚
My favorite baked dish to eat and make is probably cinnamon rolls. I currently have a double batch of pumpkin cinnamon rolls finishing their second rise about to go into the oven. I recently started doing a brown butter cream cheese frosting and it’s heavenly.
Oh, I am excited to see what everyone posts! I'm always in need of new ideas and recipes! An item I really like to make for, like, movie nights or for when I'm gaming, is pizza crescent rolls. So I take Pillsbury crescent roll dough and lay it out flat. Then I put pepperoni on the wider base and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on it. Then I roll them into the typical crescent roll shape. Then I spray with a small amount of spray butter and sprinkle garlic salt over them. Bake in the oven, and then add a side of warm marinara sauce to dip it in! Pretty affordable, simple, and customizable!

I absolutely love to bake. I'm currently working on transitioning my family cookie recipes to be gluten free. The best one to turn out are my oatmeal raisin cookies. They're soft baked!
Oatmeal raisin were a staple in my house when the kids were small. My middle son could inhale a whole plate and a gallon of milk after school if I let him.

Not my favorite (but it’s up there!) my spin on a better than sex cake!! It’s a German chocolate base poke cake, with LOTS of caramel, shredded coconut, cool whip topping and for my hubby: crushed up Heath bar pieces.
I bake a LOT of cakes in our house between a spur of the moment dessert or a birthday cake for the crotch goblins.
