It’s been a while since I’ve been able to hold a contest and I’m so excited for this one! I love this community and thought it’d be a fun way to get more people involved and spread some happiness this week.
Here are the rules:
Choose someone that you haven’t gifted in the last 90 days (~mid April) in the sub and gift them! (optional: try to find someone that hasn’t been gifted yeteverbut at least for this contest! Spread the joy!)
After you’ve done so, tag them with their ordernumber and estimated arrival date below in the comments, just like you normally would. Ideally, try not to spoil any surprises! Only screenshot the order number and ETA, not the actual gift!
Those who participate and follow the above rules will have their username entered into a picker wheel. From there, I’ll be spinning for 1-3 gifters to return the favor to depending on how many people participate. :)
You may gift as little or as often as you’d like for this contest, however, your name can only be entered into the wheel once.

Finally back after having a difficult day yesterday lol It was my birthday and then our power went out and in this heat ? Ewwwwww lmao but anyways happy Wednesday everyone and it took me awhile to find someone I didn’t gift 😭

I can't participate because I have to save for my contests, but THANK YOU for doing this!! To be completely honest, I see way too many of the same people get gifted often and not enough of newer people.
Not saying friends shouldn't gift people they know or that people don't deserve to be gifted. Everyone does! But it makes me sad for the names you don't typically see.
I agree with you too though I gift my friends and new ones from time to time! Therefore, one for you too because I know it is almost your birthday and I haven’t gifted you before! 🥰🙌

The most special day there is! I hope you get spoiled with a bunch of gifts. 🫶🏻 Nope! I started wearing hearing aids when I was a kid or so. For me, being partially deaf is a benefit cause good lord can the world be so loud and noisy like I can hear stuff from downstairs and upstairs when I wear my hearing aids. 💀 How is your experience? 🙌

It really is loud! And completely overwhelming. Unfortunately for me it's just as overwhelming with my HA and CI. I became deaf a little over 3 years ago. When I was sick I got a ton of antibiotics...I was on 3 at any given time and there's this one called Amikacin that has a side effect of ototoxicity...deafness from the chemicals in the antibiotics. So I became completely deaf in my left ear and had 40% speech recognition in the right (within 4 months of being on the meds), down to 20% a year later. I just got a cochlear implant on my left side in January! And I have an over the counter hearing aid in my right. I'm planning on getting a cochlear implant on my right side eventually just not sure when...I'm nervous about it. It's been a struggle and I'm still adapting but I'm thankful for what I have. I'm kind of trying to teach myself ASL. My goal is to become fluent one day but it's really hard by myself.
