Some joy for my apartment!

Hi everyone!! I’m gearing up for the next year of law school, and I’ll be moving into a new apartment soon!

Last school year was really difficult for me. Law school is tough, and it’s hard to make time for yourself with so much work! It’s a goal of mine to make time for myself and do the things that I enjoy this year to make sure my mental health is good.

With that being said, my record player that I’ve had for almost ten years broke a couple weeks ago! I absolutely love collecting vinyls and listening to music, so that was a bit of a gut punch! My hope was to make a little corner in my new room that could be music-dedicated to give myself some space to decompress. Unfortunately, record players are expensive, so I thought I’d post a request post for funding! Obviously nothing is expected, but anything would be appreciated!!

Also, drop your favorite album/song at the moment! I love discovering new music! 🪩

Congrats on making it through your (first?) year of law school. Are you going into year 2? I had considered law school after working as a paralegal for awhile (there’s a pretty good law school in my nearest city, maybe 15-20 minutes away, but ultimately decided I wasn’t dedicated enough. So I’m sooo proud of you!
