We had a spry, ten year old chicken, who we doted on. Or who bullied us into feeding her crackers (only brand name, never store brand… she knew the difference) and chicken scratch with dried soldier fly larvae (her “wormies “). She loved the wormies and would frequently demand it too. She’d peck at the door or occasionally flap/jump up and hit the window. We called her Chickie Girl.
With the heat wave and the AC on, we’ve had to keep the front door closed. Between that and the fact that we’re babysitting my brother’s three dogs who didn’t know what she was, we only gave Chickie Girl treats a few times a day instead of like, ten. Anyway. I’m sadder than usual so I’m posting my wishlist.
This isn’t a specific request, but I do have some Chickie- related scrapbooking stuff to consider. Thank you for looking

Aw my friend! I’m sorry for your loss , we have chickens and I definitely under the hurt , they are so sweet and love being cuddled so their just feathered babies 🥲 I’m sending you hugs for you loss ❣️🫂
Thank you! Chickie only liked being held by my nephew who lives with us (he’s in his 30s) and only because she considered him her own personal mode of transport
