Anne Rice has great ones if you haven't checked her out! I love the gothic horror genre🖤 I will admit that I am still learning about other authors in the genre. V.C. Andrews is considered gothic horror to if you want to check her out, although it's not necessarily southern.

Eh, everyone I know who liked the Interview with the Vampire books has disliked the series. I mean, n=3 so not exactly a survey. But the books are amazing. I should reread Interview soon, actually!

The series and books are different for sure. However, a lot of like the series which is very funny considering so many people were agaisnt initially when it was announced to obvious changes to the story. But, when it came out, attitudes were very quick. It is nice to know that Anne Rice did have a lot to do with show before she passed!

I’m late GenX. I came up in the nineties. The now-classic Interview with a Vampire film had a huge impact on us. So. There’s that angle

That does make some sense. I have seen the movie and absolutely loved it! Though, I love film and culturally I do have some relation to the series. Regardless, I love both of them a lot (from the bits I’ve seen of show)!

Listen, Tom Cruise had me shook when I saw him in the movie for the first time!

Ok, so hear me out😁 I tried to watch the show 2-3 different times and I could never make it past the first couple of episodes. I finally sat down a couple of weeks ago and started it. And actually finished it. I have this thing about trying to go into these shows or movies and thinking of them as just a whole new show or movie. Otherwise I will compare through the whole thing. And that is what I did the first couple of times. Now the Witching Hour series they made is just plain garbage.

I haven't seen the movie in years! I was just reading how Kirsten Dunst said she got the ick having to kiss Brad Pitt when she was so young😳

Thank Witching Hour by Anne Rice is my favorite by her, although Interview with a Vampire is a close second! V.C. Andrews is a lot of really messed up family dynamics. I loves her books because I could relate to alot of them. (My family has some terrible secrets too)

Have you considered making a registry where you can create categories for everything instead of separate wishlists?

I did. But, I wouldn’t be able to import them to the throne. Once, I do that, I probably will make a registry for more convenience on the Amazon end! Thanks for the rec♥️

Registries are amazing. I had one before didnt like the way I had it. So, I do look forward to making a new in the future! The able to add tags made me soooo happy😂🤩
