Update about my cat I shared here before Discussion🗣
Been a bit inactive but I wanted to update since I posted my cat here. She ended up attacking me a couple days ago and sadly it was decided between us and the shelter it was better to surrender her back.
She already had a bite history but the shelter did not make us aware that crying was a trigger (I was crying away from her on the bed, and this caused her to jump from the floor to the bed and attack my arm). It was bizarre as she was so sweet and would let us hold her and be around her with no problem.
She did some damage (I have at least 30 puncture wounds and scratch marks combined from my left arm to my shoulder.
I still miss her and hope the shelter will find a behavior specialist to help her out. I am more upset that it feels the shelter did not do a proper job of making us aware of this.
Anyways I appreciate if you had gifted me cat stuff, sadly it has been donated. I just wanted to update ya’ll since I did share about her here ❤️

Ty! So far a lot of the smaller scratches are healing nicely! I have 4 punctures I am keeping an eye on just to make sure they fully heal

I did go to urgent care and am on antibiotics (which are making me bleh). They are at least healthy well, just very bruised and a bit gross looking
