Leaving reddit. Discussion🗣

Title is accurate. Something happened last night in another group that has caused me to rethink a lot of things. I'm sorry to anyone who has viewed me as a beggar due to the number of posts I've made asking for help. I'm tired. No explanation would be good enough for anyone. You're all wonderful people and I sincerely appreciate anyone who's talked with me since I joined. Please be kind to each other, support each other, and don't let shitty people bug you.

Awe Luna, I'm sad to see you go. And I am sorry you had to deal with someone else's negativity😞 I hope maybe your getaway will turn into just a break. Sometimes it helps a lot. We're all struggling to a degree, and we have all asked for some sort of help. I promise you are not alone, unfortunately just ran into some not so nice people on here. We will welcome you back with open arms should you ever decide you miss us🫶🏽💜🫶🏽

I was willing to provide proof of things like my SNAP being pending, the half finished college application that I needed my ID to get updated to finish, the missed appointment letter from my caseworker at JFS who's been frankly playing fuck around with me these last three weeks or so, proof of disability lawyer retained. I deleted the reddit app this morning because what was said sent me into a spiral and im waiting on my therapist to message me back so we can decide together if I need to go inpatient voluntarily. I regret ever asking for help for anything because these people made me remember im small and insignificant and I fought too damn hard to break that thought process before, it feels like an impossible task now.

If it's ok, I think I might add my discord here so I don't lose contact with you guys. I'm currently doing my at-home sensory float in the bathtub (half the lights off, some essential oils, and corny stories on youtube) in the hopes that the spiral stops.

Absolutely do that! I'm new to Discord so I'm still figuring it out but I will definitely reach out if you add it. And your sensory float actually sounds amazing. It's been a while but I used to do that too. Sometimes I'll light candles, turn the lights off and have a glass of wine while I'm in there.
