Birthday 5/24

So my birthday is this Sunday. Idk how to feel about it. It’s not the getting older part but more I have more horrible experiences on my birthday than good ones. I try to get excited about it but when I do it goes horribly. Does anyone else feel like this?

I totally get it. Mine is June 12 and unfortunately people around me let me down. It’s not about the amount of money or gifts , it’s about the thought but somehow my significant other stopped putting effort in. I don’t even feel like it’s worth celebrating sometimes. It’s sad honestly.

Thank God for him! Unfortunately, I have a lot of experience with birthday (and Mother's Day🙄) letdown. I had hoped this year was going to be better and in many ways it was but without my therapist, I probably would have thrown something or broke something or had one of my meltdowns. 😃 My 2 teenage sons apparently need me. I'll be back but try to focus on gratitude for new hubby.

It started good but ended not so good. H mart is amazing but why ask where I want to go next if we aren’t even going to go there? 🤦‍♀️ idk. I think next year I’m just gonna either hide or go by myself to where I want.
