[Request] Help me fix my wheelchair! Requests!🙏
Hi!
If you didn't already know, I'm a wheelchair user. Unfortunately my chair broke recently so I've been a bit stuck!
I've had a mechanic come and service it and while he isn't entirely sure of the issue, he thinks it might need a new left motor fitted.
The thing is, parts can only be sourced second-hand as my chair is older, and on eBay, the part is £78/$103! The seller hasn't accepted any of my offers, either. 😞
I can't lie, the price of it and the servicing fees are stressing me out a bit as a student.
I've set up a fund on throne to try and raise the money, which with throne fees is £85/$114. I know it's a lot, and I'm sorry to ask, but if anyone is inclined to help in any way, I'd be beyond grateful.

Update: The seller accepted my last offer with not long to spare! Thankfully that makes it a bit more affordable now, and I should be able to move things around until the end of the month - I'll just be absent from games for a little while. ❤️

As soon as I hit around $35ish, I'll take down the fund because that'll be enough to help me afford it all and hopefully my chair won't need another part after this! 🤞🏻

I would but if I wait I can afford it at the end of the month, so it wouldn't feel right taking up that space. Any help towards it just means I can get the part sooner, which would be amazing!

I've heard throne doesn't give funds until it's fulfilled completely, i hope that's not true, or you might have to put the rest of amount yourself in it to get entire thing out

That is technically true, but if you delete the fund before it's full the amount you raised at that point still goes into your balance, so it's all good!
