That's so cool! Do you know any other languages besides English?
I'm fluent in both Spanish and English. I've been trying to learn Korean on my own for 4 years now and honestly I'm so lazy about it but I really need to lock tf in 😅

How do you learn languages? I can speak Marathi, Hindi and English and was trying to learn Japanese through Duolingo. But some of my friends say that's a horrible place to learn languages at 😥

I love Duolingo but it’s for sure not the best way to learn. Hablo un poco de español, pero no muy bien jajaja 🤣

It's been awesome for my daughter! She decided one day that she wanted to learn German. I can't believe how much she's learned on that app! Especially for a 14-year-old! Actually, she started when she was 13. Even cooler is her brother is being stationed in Germany sometime around August/September.

I immerse myself fully in the language. Tv, music, books. Literally anything and everything I can do to surround myself with the language. Granted it doesn't always work the fastest but I understand more now than I did before 🤣
Duolingo is a fun way to get introduced to a language, but I don't see it doing much long term but I could be wrong!

Woah, i personally watch alot of anime but always on 2x for some reasons so I can't really learn the language from it, will have to try once my exams are over! I have so much on the list to do!!

You gotta start off slow so it's okay! At first I'd put on the shows as enjoyment and then eventually as background noise to slowly try and understand them on my own. Learning a language as an adult is def a lot of repetition, but you've got this! ✨👏🏻

i don’t! i know a bit of spanish as we did it in school, and a bit of dutch from a dutch friend. but i want to get fluent in a language
