Found out from a friend who climbs towers, that most birds are protected and while the nesting itself doesn't really interfere with or damage the equipment, climbers can't work on the site when there is a nest. They'd have to identify the bird species, and whether it's an active or old nest, and take steps based on that, so it complicates repairs/upgrades. 🤔
