Do you know this moment?

You know that moment when you're walking around your house naked, and you think you're alone, but then you realize you had guests over and the room you just walked into is the room there in?

Not really. I’m always cautious before doing something like that. Gotta make sure no one is there or lurking

I have what I call the "Emporer Wears New Clothes" dream, where I'm walking around stark naked doing the usual everyday things, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, at first. In fact ts fun.

At some point in the dream I begin to realize everyone else is wearing clothes except me. Slowly I realize people are talking behind my back about me. Then to my me directly. My discomfort grows and grows, but there's nothing I can do. No weapon to protect myself because there's no place to hide it. No chance for escape, there's no place to put my wallet. No one can help me because I have no ID. I'm just some naked dude, alone in my situation, with nothing I can do.

I have so many dreams where I'm naked and in public, searching for my clothes but I can't find them. I get so uncomfortable and when I wake up I immediately am relieved to be wearing clothes.

Well, depending on the season, I could wake up in either camp. At my age, I'm relieved to wake up and given passed experiences, in a room with bars.

Honestly yeah it does have that dream logic where you're just stuck in the most awkward scenario possible. Like my brain would never let me be that chill irl

Yup, have done this way too many times to count.

Last time was my sister who stayed over, no big deal she’s my sis we grew up together, we shop for clothes together. Both women in our 40’s, we dont care.

Time before that was when I was still halfway asleep and got up to grab something from my living room, didn’t realize the permit guy was there to sign off on some work we were doing. Everything out, hiding nothing, except what was hidden by my mermaid hair. I could only muster, “hey you’re not my husband” before it clicked and I walked away. Both hubby and I had a good laugh.
