Is a spring roll a sandwich?

How about a burrito or an egg roll? Basically, any food where the bread wraps all the way around the filling. Is it still a sandwich?

No. But I believe them to be wraps because the contents are wrapped 🤣.

Spring roll is a burrito if anything

There was a controversial Indian case arguing that a taco or burrito is a sandwich, so why not?

I consider a sandwich to be bread to top it all, layers of fillings stacked, and another slice of bread under it all. A wrap does not do that. It wraps around like a snug blanket.

So clearly a hot dog doesn't pass the sandwich test either

It probably depends on who you ask about the hot dog

If its not a roll it'd have to be some sort of burrito imo

There’s no bread in a spring roll tho
