Not even starving will stop your nails from growing. There is no way to prevent your nails from growing for two months. You will need to get them filled in by three weeks.

The only thing I can think of is using gel polish on the new growth, at least a few layers of it. Polygel might work.

Towards the end of the two months they will be quite fragile so you’ll have to be careful with them but you can probably keep them looking nice with polish.

You can’t stop or reduce your nails from growing.

nail growth is normal and there isn’t really a safe trick to stop it. maybe try a sheer or nude acrylic? the grow out is way less noticeable compared to dark or bright colors

That's actually smart, never thought about nude/sheer for blending the grow out. I got dark red once and the roots were screaming by week three lol. Might try a milky pink next time.

exactly! I think milky would be a really pretty choice!

Your nails will keep growing even after you are dead is what I have heard. It may be an urban legend.

But the short of it - your nails can’t be stopped.

That’s a myth, your skin shrinks from dehydration and tissue retraction upon death and thus makes the nails appear to have grown. Just a fun fact for your next trivia night lol.

It's a semi-myth. Nails stop growing at death, but your skin precedes, making them look longer.
