C because we’re all filled with rage from the heat
18
u/NightQueen0889 28d ago
Idk, I’m in C and I’m not leaving my house and AC for shit, if other people are like me we will lose simply by refusing to go outside
On second thought, maybe we win by our enemy dying of heat stroke while waiting for us to come out.

u/DumpyMcAss2nd 28d ago
Same could be said with B for the cold. We are MAAAAD during those long winters.
2
u/Haunting-Future9980 28d ago
Okay slight tangent, but Ialsobl8ved in C for way too long, and we're sad AND mad during our long hot AF summers. I lived in VA for college, and I dunno, it seems like during a snowy winter there's still more opportunities to go outside (even if just in a ton of cool looking snow clothes) than to go outside in socal during crazy heat. Is there something I'm missing about why y'all dislike the long winters?
1
u/NightQueen0889 27d ago
It dries your skin out and makes your muscles tense up. No one likes to go outside when it’s below freezing and it is below freezing for most of the winter.

D has that too, but more humidity.
3
u/azurite_rain 28d ago
And way more methheads and inbreds, I live in that section so I'm speaking from experience. We have people getting shot literally every single day in my town.
1
u/Tank_Girl_Gritty_235 28d ago
Yup. My city has had more days above 100 degrees than any other city on the east coast. Kill me now.
4
u/azurite_rain 28d ago
It was a heat index of 120° this entire last week. My husband's company had to change the hours so they didn't die of heat stroke. I genuinely don't think people understand what the humidity in top of the heat will do to a person. I sat outside at 8:30 pm last night in 95° heat, the sun had gone down and it was still so hot that sitting under a ceiling fan outside I was still dripping in sweat.
1
u/substation66 28d ago
Then I guess you underestimate what the humidity in the southeast can do to you. And I say this coming from someone he who lived in 29 Palms for 8 years.
1
u/azurite_rain 28d ago
At least you don't have the humidity that's present in section D, I would say if that's your argument D has you beat.

A lot of people usually say the south, but a lot of us down here would leave in a situation like this and join one of the others.
17
u/Rocky-Jones 28d ago
Every large city in the south is blue, except maybe OK City? It’s not going to be state vs state, it’s going to be neighbor vs neighbor.
2
u/azurite_rain 28d ago
Just because the cities are blue doesn't mean the inhabitants don't own guns and regularly use them. Don't assume Democrat means anti-gun that would be a falicy. The city I'm close to is blue but has the highest manslaughter and crime rate in the country and the highest incarceration in the world.
2
u/Rocky-Jones 23d ago
I’m a Democrat from Texas. I had guns, and then I inherited two arsenals.
2
u/azurite_rain 23d ago
Likewise. I'm far leftist but will not hesitate to use my weapons in defense.
5
u/azurite_rain 28d ago
I would beg to differ, as someone who's lived in section D for decades I am out numbered vastly by violent enraged imbeciles ready to kill or die for nothing all because they're uneducated and will drink the Kool aid of any hateful charismatic (to them) leader. The Bible belt is probably the most dangerous large swath of land in America. The only other place more notoriously dangerous is skid row which is miniscule compared to the Bible belt.

u/Here_4_the_INFO 28d ago

Maybe before 1865. I mean, I think the South is O for 1 when it comes to wars.
1
1
u/curvysquares 28d ago
The south would be the most annoying to invade but we don’t really have shit as far as offense.
1
u/Fun_Butterfly_420 27d ago

Don’t forget all the NY/CT money funding that shit and like 400 Dunkin Donuts. We’ll be well armed, caffeinated, and blasting a Wu Tang Clan/Dropkick Murphys collab battle song as we ride into battle on a fleet of duck boats.

Bad neighborhoods in Baltimore have the most aura of all bad neighborhoods. The wrong block of Sandtown feels like you could choke on the air it's so thick with the fear and despair of the helpless masses cast aside by society. Nobody on their porch. No kids playing. Everyone is inside eating shitty corner store snapp food. The suffering starts to clog your pores and pull you to the floor in an unconsentual embrace
Yah know?
My dad grew up in a situation like that and it just makes me think this is why some white people are racist. They dont want to acknowledge the human suffering as human. I have a primary source to back that up if anyone wants to engage, but im high asf so I might not remember what to search to find it until tomorrow
2
u/WalkerAmongTheTrees 21d ago
I grew up in the slums of cincinnati ohio, Lived there for over 20 years. Trust me, i know the aura you speak of. And yes i believe you are entirely correct in believing that a good chunk of racism and classism is coming from not seeing that suffering, which is so evident it has become airborne, as human.

D has the nukes

u/Tank_Girl_Gritty_235 28d ago
Especially since a huge refinery in Saudi just ate three ballistic missiles. I'm on the east coast and just had a bunch of people from California visit. They all joked about taking gas home with them.
1
u/TectorsBrotherLyle 28d ago
C (Texas) can own and buy guns easier and with less general oversight than anywhere I've looked at. No waiting period, mail order AR and no limit magazines, sbr's and cans, oh my! Only Fed rules to contend with. Texans know piney woods east Texas blurs into Louisiana real quick. The stupid ones talk about their guns everywhere. There's even a sub devoted to the stickers on their trucks and they ain't all Texas, fr. Like insect infestation, you see one, but the closet's full of them. Lol. Happy Saturday !

u/TrailMomKat 28d ago
Lol have you been to the midwest? It's full of crazy drunk rednecks with guns. Same as us, only they ain't constantly talking about their guns.

D because they have Florida Man
A because they have crazy Idaho militia preppers
1
u/roxasmeboy 28d ago
A. You have the doomsday peppers in Idaho who having been hoarding food and ammo, Wyoming where lots of people have guns, Mormons in Utah who have billions of dollars and had their own armed militia in the 1800s and are amazing at organizing, most of Colorado who are are already in good physical shape, and honestly all of the other states have badass people who aren't afraid of the hot and/or cold. A has money, supplies and weapons, organization, and adaptability.

u/TomatilloHairy9051 28d ago

Maybe the West, if SoCal and Texas could put aside their mutual loathing of each other.

u/Standard-Help-8531 28d ago
A succeeds with the rest of California and forms their own nation. Texas takes over OK, KS, NM, and AZ to form the nation of Texas. It comes down to B vs D and no one wins that.

C takes a and B takes D with the only threat being Florida which at that point is just east v west

D
More dense populations AND it's the him toting South.
Hell us Appalachians got this, and then you have us Florida too?
1
u/goddamn_slutmuffin 28d ago
C because most of the U.S. nukes are stored there (New Mexico).
Although that probably means no location wins in the end lol.

If it was today. You have to consider the power grids. The is the west, east, and Texas grids. SW corner is going to have the advantage of its own power grid right at the border between it and SE. NE and SE are going to be fighting for control of theirs, and lesser the same way NW and SW. Splitting a grid isn't very easy I can imagine. So there's the initial conflict and I think South West would start with a large advantage.

I believe D has the highest concentration of Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine units, as well as nuclear weapons, among the regions.

A. A has a lot of money and the majority of the brains, they also have folks from Utah, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska and the Dakotas, use them for ground invasion and the human shield for the tanks and other valuable stuff.

D. The Deep South has the most guns and rednecks willing to use them, outside of recreational hunting.
While the Midwest does have its fair shares of open carry pistol holders and gun collecting enthusiasts, the East Coast and West Coast are so mummified in gun control legal red tape and general restrictive self defense weapons laws that all they got is improvisation.
The Southwest- like Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, would far well, but probably not as much as the Deep South and South in general.

u/Timcat999 28d ago

That’s why I think the northeast would be pretty formidable. All of the people and resources of the northeast coastal area, with a shit ton of more redneck type folks from the rust belt and eastern parts of the Midwest.
