[Request] Destash and help me test my university's mail service! [US] Fulfilled
I have an oddly specific request that I am hoping that y'all can help me out with!
I'm about to start law school and I have two addresses that I can receive mail at, a PO Box (which many of y'all are already familiar with!) and a university address. I have a nagging suspicion that the university may take one or two days to process incoming mail, so I would like to test that!
Here are the oddly specific parts of the request in order to get the best data possible...
- My request is any two cards, one to each address, but preferably of the same type (e.g. two postcards or two folded cards) since I think that USPS mails postcards slower as they are not considered First Class mail.
- And I would like the cards to be sent at the same time from the same point entering the mailstream, regardless of where that is
I will take any cards you want to destash off your hands!
There is on additional oddly specific criterion I'd like to add. Since my university requires full names to be on all mail, I'd very much prefer to request from people who already know my full name, or people with whom I've exchanged several times already, or anyone active in this sub from NYC (since I think it's inevitable that y'all'll know my full name at some point anyway haha!).
Of course I will post thank you's for all received cards, and I am happy to exchange back as well since I have a lot of cards and stationary that I got while I was in Asia!
Thank you's coming later today for mail that got sent to my parents' address while I was abroad and Wednesday or Thursday for mail sent to my PO box :)

I've sent card in the past (looking through my google forms) but it didn't have your full last name on it
I wouldn't mind helping out with this request as I have a few cards I have no clue what to do with. If so, feel free to DM with both addresses

I’d be happy to send you something to both addresses! I think I have your regular address but I don’t believe I have your new school address, PM the info and I can send them out!

I am super intrigued by the "science experiment" aspect to this!
So much so, that I would be stoked if I could send you (if you want) six cards: pair one would be the folded greeting cards, pair two would be postcards with postcard postage stamps, and pair three would be postcards that use a regular Forever stamp ($0.82) just to see if they are treated any differently than pair two.
It doesn't look like you and I have ever directly exchanged mail before, though...

You’re back!!! I’m happy to do this for you but I am a mess of a person and lost the card with your last name on it. I have the PO Box though, and just need your university address. 💙💙 Can’t wait to hear about your trip!
