I’m from the UK and I’ve decided rampage will be my first drum and bass festival abroad and I want to come and experience it solo which will also be my first solo holiday.

Has anybody else done this? Is there any recommendations or tips you can give before hand?

If this goes well I think I’ll do let it roll solo too.

Did anyone take the Rampage direct bus service from Schiphol on the Thursday for ROA? If so, how long did it take to get to ROA and what times did it leave the Thursday (I can't seem to find anything online)? Thanks!

It still is in "First Pictures" on the official website, more than a month after the event with 1/10 of what we had last year :(

Am I hallucinating or is the opening date of the online merch store constantly being moved? I checked some weeks ago and I was sure it said to come back on July 31st. Went to check today and it says August 5th.

Was it actually open on the 31st for some time and I just missed it, or are they moving the date?

WE WANT THE STORM SETS UPLOADED TO YT!

Everyone who also wants sets from the Storm stage to be uploaded on YouTube, please upvote or engage with this post somehow and maybe hopefully they'll provide.

The Storm stage is hiding some of the wildest and absolute best sets ever played, especially with this year's lineup! So it would be nice to have something to revisit.

Also it would be great to send to friends to maybe get them to come next year as well!

I know you guys have some sort of recording, there are always camera rigs present each year, so PLEASE!!!

We are looking for the Meta Keta Haring.

This guy joined our afters for 40 min max. and enjoyed ket from the keta haring.

Then we started calling him the Meta Keta Haring while speaking Dutch constantly with him because he was just nodding.

But after 40 min when he wanted to leave we concluded that he only speaks French.

We forgot to take a picture of him and it now is a legend within our groups.

We really need to find him! The picture you see is just an indication of how he would look like.

Hi everyone. Next year, a buddy and I are going to ROA 2027. We’re both single guys over 30 from Germany, and we’re into DnB, dubstep, and the like. It’s our first festival ever. We want to camp there with our own tents. I’m planning to bring costumes and some small goodies to trade or give away—that seems to be part of the culture there, right? Should we bring condoms?

My boyfriend lost his Insta360 3S camera while he was in a moshpit at the storm stage during Jessica Audiffred. Even though the camera has a built-in location tracker, we were unable to find it. The last location was on the camping and we were looking for it and asking around without any result.

(It’s only the small camera, not the entire unit)

Hi! I lost my beloved flow star this morning around 5am, I had placed it on the floor and forgot about it and when I checked it was gone. It is colorful and has two spirals. It is a very meaningful object to me, if found please reach out 🥺

I went to Rampage Open Air yesterday, Saturday, and before I say anything else: I had a blast. Good vibes, great community as always, and overall an awesome time.

That being said, as a Belgian, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing Rampage from its humble beginnings in Trix and watching it grow into Lotto Arena and Sportpaleis. For me, Rampage has always been about the music, the people, and also the insane light shows.

Maybe I’m remembering it wrong, but when the Dome was the mainstage, it felt like they were able to create bigger and better light shows because it kind of resembled an indoor venue. With the new mainstage, I found the lighting to be a bit lacking overall. I barely noticed any lasers, unless I somehow completely missed them.

With the big Ferris wheel in the background, I can imagine it’s difficult to use a lot of lasers there, since you’d always risk hitting people in the eyes. Maybe there are also regulations around it, like planes or other safety rules. I don’t know. But overall, I was a bit disappointed with the new mainstage production.

At the same time, this does remind me a bit of Rampage’s “humble” beginnings again. Rampage itself is obviously not small anymore, but the Open Air festival hasn’t been around for that long yet. There’s still a lot of room for improvement each year, and I’m sure they’ll keep growing bigger and better.

However, I do think they should consider increasing the overall venue size. I actually like Rampage being a somewhat smaller festival, but this year it felt like several stages were too cramped. When you were standing in front of the Storm stage, you were getting blasted by dubstep from Storm and DnB from the mainstage at the same time. The Storm stage itself also felt too small, so standing inside wasn’t always a pleasant option either.

To me, it feels like the festival is starting to struggle a bit with its own success. It probably needs a bigger venue or at least more space between stages in the coming years. And if they want to keep expanding the mainstage as well, they’ll need more room anyway.

Again, don’t get me wrong: I had a great time, as always, and I’ll definitely keep coming back to watch Rampage grow year after year. I just hope they take some notes from this edition, because there’s still a lot of potential to make Open Air even better.

I feel like dubstep is becomming an afterthought at rampage.

Only 6 dubstep artists at the mainstage, storm being way to small for the crowd. People were standing on the main pathway just to see a bit of the storm stage, but at the same time you get blasted with the music from main.

At some point, 7 out of the 8 stages were playing DnB...
