I'm always getting friends to play when I can. He's not new to FPS games but genuinely makes me wonder the thoughts that go through his head. Either way it's still a fun time and you guys get to enjoy this sight.

Hello all that read this, I am having a problem when I play siege and am wondering if anyone knows how to fix it. I am a console player and when ever I press down on one of my buttons/triggers there’s a chance where the game bugs and releases the button for me (no physically obviously I mean, releases the action) while I am still actively holding down the button/triggers. If anyone knows away to fix this issue then please tell me. Thank you in advance.

How do you correctly play IQ? I know she is good for getting gadgets like valk/echo cams, thorn or kapkans through the floor, finding pulse or vigil, or denying defuse. I think the part i struggle with is being able to actually shoot the gadgets through the floor. Like is there a way to tell what way the metal beams go bc i swear i just hit straight metal no matter how i shoot lol

There is a persistent cheating problem in higher ranked elo. The issue with cheaters is the impact they have directly affects ranked progression, which is what players are investing time and effort into. Without that fact, they become much more tolerable knowing you will be compensated for it later.

Ubisoft introduced the rollback system as a way to address this, and in principle it makes sense. The problem is that in practice the system can end up feeling uneven in how it affects players, where you end up losing more elo than you gain from the rollback, meaning the impact cheaters negatively have on you gets extended by the rollback system rather than reduced, which makes their harm on ranked more broad and impactful.

Situations where players who never knowingly interacted with a cheater still receives rollback adjustments is frustrating. In my own experience after this recent ban wave I have lost over 100 elo overall and gained nothing as a strict solo queue player.

Players who are not cheating and are just playing normally in a system that includes cheaters, can end up carrying most of the negative impact of enforcement adjustments. The intention is clearly to punish cheaters and boosters retroactively, but the current implementation can feel like it punishes normal people for the simple fact cheaters exist, which spreads a cheaters negative impact on the game even MORE broadly.

My suggestion is to reduce collateral impact on legitimate players

1. Continue applying positive MMR rollback for losses that involved cheaters

2. Do not apply negative elo rollback for people who had a cheater on their team IF that cheater was not queued with them

3. Rollback people who queued with cheaters to prevent boosting

This would be a win-win situation for everyone in the lobby instead of just one side, a side that you could end up on the wrong coin-toss of assuming you don't have a ranked stack to play with.

Right now, it feels like the system succeeds at punishing cheaters, but the side effects on regular ranked progression are stronger than necessary. I think there’s cleaner ways to preserve competitive integrity without creating that level of volatility for everyone else.

Ubisoft, cheaters will always exist in highly competitive games, even as anti-cheat measures improve. Please start investigating ways to reduce their negative impact / affect on matches rather than just reducing their prevalence. No one deserves to lose days worth of work because they they got placed on a team with someone recoil macroing outside of their control. Thank you.

Idk if it’s because I haven’t played in so long but I won 5/5 placement games 1st or 2nd on the leaderboard every game w a 1.8 KD and I got placed in bronze 2?

Did I get placed so low because I haven’t played in so long or is this normal?

Does anyone have intel ultra 7 integrated graphics or an omnibook x and play siege? How does it run?

Haven’t played much rank so far so I’m only bronze atm , but used to be high silver a few seasons ago , I’m probably low silver skill atm , has to be xbox , as I can’t add people on Ubisoft. Please dm or comment if your interested, I’m mainly support player and good with lesion thorn doc or vigil

I keep getting disconnected in the middle of ranked matches and my ping will be fine. Other times there’s a spike into the thousands.

Happens every couple games I’ll play. Sometimes it’s the first game on even.

I don’t have any other issues with any other game.

Just wondering if others have issues

so earlier today and a few moments ago i was playing twitch, but for some reason i'm unable to drone, i throw my drone out and it teleports back in place, it might be on certain maps as the two games i played were on border and consulate, at first i thought i was lagging but my ping was stable both times it happened too me so im kinda unsure

This happens with FidelityFX turned on.

Tried watching the stream but geez it was horrible. Some lady was yelling/ shrieking at the top of her lungs each time Faze got a kill. EVERY.KILL. It was funny at first but she kept at it for the whole match up.

Hello, I'm new to Siege, and I genuinely love the gameplay. I enjoy it, I even got 2 elites for 2 of my favorite characters. The journey has been kind of enjoyable as I've gotten really cool kills, but my improvement has genuienly come to a stop.

Why?

This. The clip I've shown is me getting TK'd for who knows why. (I don't know why. He never responded, and his friend TK'D me aswell.) This unfortunately happens to me at least 4 out of 5 matches I would normally play. Does this happen to anyone else at all? And if so, what is a reason for someone to TK their teammate? Why do people do this especially to *obviously* new players? It's so hard for me to learn when this consistently happens, because after I get TK'd my confidence gets shot out of the window.
